A bad experience

As an investor of £100k, all was reasonably going well for the first 12 months, with pleasant complimentary accommodation, although payments were sometimes delayed.
Having had confirmation of my next years 14 days complimentary bookings I now find they cannot honour the first 4 nights booking in 2 weeks time. No advance notification and I only found out when chasing the holiday park for check in process. Having read the other reviews I’m sorry I made this investment and hope I at least get return of my capital. The free 2 weeks holiday for the next 4 years have gone up in smoke.

Taking legal action

Further to my review below I am now taking legal action against Royale but it will end up going to court. They have now agreed they owe me money but have changed the contract, claiming I won’t get it until they have sold the van which flies in the face of a buyback agreement! Other reviewers on here in a similar position- I am on Facebook as Nicki Dartnell if you would like to pm me.

Having spent numerous time trying to…

Having spent numerous time trying to get connected, then giving my booking reference was told they cannot check details, I have given up with company.
Numerous telephone calls as emails totally ignored. We need to change our booking due to family status that is beyond our control, yet no one is able to help me looks like I am going to loose over a couple of hundreds of pounds, due to lack of knowledge and compassion

Shambles of a company that buy caravan…

Shambles of a company that buy caravan parks and runs them into the ground so they can turn the site into residential sites or gypsy sites, golden leas is being run into the ground and for some reason are not buying or selling any caravans

Money owed to us for caravan

We also sold our static caravan to Royale from the kloofs site 3 months ago and still no sign of the money owed to us being g paid. My husband has been ringing the accounts department every day for the past two weeks, managers are either in a meeting, on the phone or not available. We were told this week that the money due to us was on a schedule being discussed, however he was told today that ours and other payments have still not been signed off. He will continue to ring daily till we either receive what is owed to us, or we seek legal advice.

I'm afraid my experience of Royale is a negative one

I'm afraid my experience of Royale is the same as Nik's from a week ago.
I handed over my static caravan on the Kloofs site over 3 months ago. As yet I have not seen my buyback money.
Kloofs is a lovely site with friendly and helpful staff onsite but they are being badly let down by their parent company. I am assured I will get my money but with no indications of when.
It seems to me Royale Resorts are in a mess and doing business with them at the moment is a risk.
I will update when my money arrives!

If you like dogs constantly barking in…

If you like dogs constantly barking in van next door while owners are out, your caravan vibrating every two minutes from road traffic. Very noisy car park. swimming pool not accessible to elderly or disabled then this is the place for you booked in Fri afternoon booked out same Fri Eve.

Beware

Booked 4 caravans with Royale Resorts in Hayling Island last year for a family get together.
4 weeks before we were due to depart, I get a call to say the units are no longer available and our holiday is now cancelled.
No plausible excuse has been given.
If you have come on here to read the reviews before booking, I suggest you don't, as you could end up disappointed like we are.

Terrible experience at Hayling Island…

Terrible experience at Hayling Island Holiday Park owned by Royal Resorts.
As a disabled father with a disabled child we made sure customer services were aware of our needs.

When we arrived:
Cooker didn’t work
Caravan dirty
Toilet and Shower room locks broken
No seating at level for disabled/arthritic

Many other issues so bad we left after one night and Royal Resorts refusing to refund nights we didn’t stay.

Says everything about this company and their appalling treatment of disabled people.

Will go legal route now.

Avoid !!
