Charcoal cat felt post is AMAZING

Unsure of how long it will last as my cats a massive scratcher but save to say he absolutely loves it, as soon as I got it up he was playing with it. Very quick and easy to install you literally just screw the post into the bottom took me about 30 seconds

Pill Treats - The most inconsistent product I have ever used

We have been using the Pill Treats for a little while for our dog who has multiple pills a day, so we go through a fair few packs.

These Treats are reasonably priced compared to competitors products, however they are the most inconsistent product I have ever used, incredibly frustrating.

One pack is great, very moldable and works as expected. The next pack is hard, not moldable, just crumbly and does not stick to itself. Its like a completely different product. This is consistently the case, good pack, bad pack. Its become a painful game of guess if they are a good pack or bad pack before I open a new one.

I thought it was a batch issue/old formula etc but they all have the same batch codes 'new softer formula' claim and purchased from the same shop just wildly different from pack to pack in terms of usability and quality.

I dont know what you are doing Rosewood when manufacturering these Treats but something is not right and spoiling a potentially good product.

Pill treats contain sorbitol

Pill treats contain sorbitol. Sorbitol can react with veterinary prescription medication, if a dog needs something to hide pills in they may need it multiple times a day increasing sorbitol consumption and side effects such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea which an owner or vet may think is a disease and therefore give more medication. Sorbitol has caused birth defects and liver damage according to some veterinary studies. The pill treats should carry a warning or consumption guide but it says to feed freely as part of a balanced diet. Dogs do not need synthetic sorbitol as part of a balanced diet.

**PLEASE READ IF BUYING PRODUCTS FOR CATS**

We bought the rosewood salmon oil from Lidl for one our cats. She liked the product at first which seemed fine, however, the next day she threw up several times and was in a great deal of pain. Following this we obviously went to the vets to check up on what’s going on. The vet stated that it was food poisoning and that it was because of the salmon oil, she said to avoid these type of products as they are filled with chemicals that can really harm cats. After some medicine she’s now feeling better which is great however, this company needs to really re-evaluate how they make their products. I’m truly disgusted with how they could do something like this.

Rosewood XL hamster cage.

Avoid , Avoid , Avoid this company.
I went to check on my beautiful hamster before going to bed . I was really traumatised with what I could see. He had chewed the bars and got his head stuck between the bars and had suffocated and died as a result. I'm left feeling devastated and in pain thinking about it . He was my best friend. I did try to complain to Rose wood they asked me lots of questions like what sort of hamster, how did it happen, can they have photo's , where did you buy it and for reciepts . I sent it all across to them everything they required. I didn't hear a thing back . And as you can imagine while your grieving it has made me feel even more upset . And also all done for nothing. .

Disappointing Advent calendar for cats

The advent calendar for cats seemed a good idea. But our four cats didn’t recognise the so called treats behind the doors at all. They just looked at them and left them alone and they’re usually very hungry, especially for treats. Very disappointing!

Hamster cage

I wrote a message to complain about the hamster cage I purchased that was from rose wood. As my hamster passed away he suffocated himself in the cage bars. I was told to send pictures of the cage. Asked what happened and asked age and gender of hamster and where I purchased it from and proof . I sent all this information in and as you can imagine when you are grieving it is very hard and it makes it difficult to do all this. But I haven't heard anything back from them at all . So it was all a total waist of my time.

Great customer service

I had an issue with a part of a hamster cage. I contacted Rosewood and had received the new part in the post without any problems. The issue was dealt with by Lisa B very quickly, good old fashioned customer service.

My dog love these toys

My dog love these toys , they can be tough on their toys but I have to say that since they were tiny puppies and using the Rosewood teething toys , up until 2 year olds , many of the toys have remained in tact , minus the worry choke hazards . They are also affordable enough to be replaced, my big boy Boston loves anything with a face and a squeak and I’m replacing his Lion Disc on a regular basis, so please Rosewood don’t stop making them ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

poor quality chew toy

I recently purchased a chew toy for my dog in the shape of a steak … it said tough in the packet and looked well made … disappointingly this was not the case … within minutes it was in the bin as the corner had been chewed off… don’t bother and save your money

I bought a 'Recycled Bird Feeder'which is advertised as 'Robust' and made from recycled bottles. 'Very good' I thought so I filled it with seed for the birds. When I went to pick it up to hang it on the bird feeder the whole thing fell apart because the top doesn't fit properly. Complete waste of money, badly made and it went in the bin. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

As a huge dog lover who is passionate about how my dogs are fed I recently bought a packet of rosewood Chicken, apple and cranberry treats, on checking on the back of the packet before I bought to see where these are made I seen a UK flag but it wasn’t until I got home and look closely it’s just said UK Designed and inspired I emailed to check where the product were produced because there was nothing on the packaging nor website, email came back China I was horrified I bought dog treats from China who Butcher and slaughter dogs for the meat trade. Rosewood are very proud to put the flag on to let us customers know where the packet is made but not to keen to state exactly where the product is made.
