Wonderful independent maker
I recommend Rosanna Morris as a maker/seller. It’s eas to see why she won the Modern Crafter Award from Holly Tucker (founder of Not On The High Street) in 2022.
I’ve bought and gifted her cards, notebooks, prints and recently her new handbook - Botanical Block Printing (book preordered elsewhere), and have been extremely happy with all of them. I’ve also been gifted her larger prints which are exquisitely illustrated and printed.
She only opens her online shop when she has stock built up (she sends notifications on her social media channels and newsletter) and it’s a joy to purchase from such a wonderful independent printmaker who’s work is full of creativity, skill and heart.
Items arrive carefully and sustainably packaged, and I am always happy to have gifts sent direct to people as I know she consistently takes care with them.
She’s clear if things won’t be dispatched immediately - being an independent maker and parent her time needs to be managed well. I fully appreciate that we can’t and shouldn’t expect solo makers to compete with huge businesses that have their own delivery systems or staff to do daily post runs.
That’s part of what I like about shopping small - we can connect with the actual human, and Rosanna Morris is absolutely one of those, pouring care and her values into all she makes and shares. Definitely a someone to repeat buy from.
