I have had the same difficulty getting…
I have had the same difficulty getting any response from this company. I purchased a sofa and armchair from them on February 25th. and paid in full including a £100 delivery charge. When paying I was asked to sign that I agreed that the items would not be delivered for 4-6 weeks. As I really liked the sofa I agreed. Subsequently after some resistance they agreed to deliver on March 25th at 6.10pm by Pinnacle Storage solutions. The sofa was damaged. The caster had been sheared off and was found behind the cushion. The valance on the left hand side is torn and dirty. The sofa was only partially wrapped in cling film ( which I have retained). The armchair was dirty on the arm. As it was out of hours I couldn’t get hold of anyone concerned. I took the advice of the delivery men who told me not to sign that I had accepted the goods. They recorded the damage and emailed Rosa
I have photos of both the armchair and sofa taken from all sides at the time of purchase, (no damage) and also the damage on delivery. I emailed Rosa immediately with photos and my complaint. I eventually had a call and email the next afternoon from Millie, offering very profuse apologies, saying she would put it all right and not to worry.
I had an email from Millie on 2nd April to say it was her last day at the company and Alex would be dealing with everything.
Since then I have phoned on 3 occasions only to get an answerphone. I left messages asking them to ring me urgently. I then emailed in detail giving them 3 days to resolve the issue to which there has been no response.
I have the sofa propped up on a book as the caster is broken off. As an elderly widow I am extremely upset, especially as this company claimed to be so caring and responsible. It is very bad publicity for other small independent companies.
