Was able to order an item not listed on their website but manufactured by one of their suppliers. Reasonable price and delivery time even though a 'special order'. eCommerce convenience with local-store service mentality. Excellent.

I purchased a well insulated, fire resistant loft access door (dwf range) to install into a knee high wall.

The quality of the product is excellent and delivery time was good. It was made to order post purchase so be prepared for a short wait.

There were conflicting photos on the “official” FAKRO website and their sales site, so I phoned them and spoke to a courteous and helpful lady on the phone. She couldn’t tell me which of the two photos was accurate because they “don’t often see the products”, but she did tell me that they only produced the newer version, so I took a bit of a chance when ordering as I wanted a particular lock style.

All in all an excellent service and great product.

Easy to fit.

The terms for delivery were not clear so we had several missed deliveries. The link from the courier was broken so we were unable to communicate with them. Unfortunately we tried to communicate this to Kyla in customer service but on several occasions she was dismissive and unhelpful. When we finally got the parcel we didn’t even need to sign for it despite advice.

The wrong item arrived after supplying photos of the item needed. A long period of waiting on a part that was already available and very expensive. When informing you the wrong part with photo informed that you had item in stock that was the correct item and sent six clips came and fitted I was hopping for 12 items to repair all windows. Anyway a bad experience and no value for money in this pruchase, as I did find local supply of item that was close but not correct and it was only could have adapted and saved 90% of cost

Ordered a roof window over Christmas from RW4Y's clearance section as it was just the size we needed for our project. Had a lovely email early in the NY from Claire in the customer service department to say that unfortunately, the window was no longer available and would I accept a slightly different one at the same price. Window then arrived promptly within the 2-3 days suggested timeframe. Great to deal with a "human" company!

I got the exact parts I was looking for first time around.

I realise that the item (a replacement hinge arm) might not be a stock item but the item took over a month to arrive and the postage cost almost the same as the part. Given I wanted to get it fitted properly it was difficult to arrange a fitter.
The replacement part looks OK although a different metal to the original, and the actual ordering process wasn’t bad. The rating is based upon the overall service. I needed to replace the hinge so that I could use the loft easily, it took over a month, I couldn’t arrange a fitter until I had chased the order and the delivery cost was proportionately high.

Good customer service and advice, good prices delivery service.
