One star. My experience with Rolevia (Kristina Zozulia’s career program) was extremely disappointing.

I joined because I needed to find a job quickly and wanted to avoid getting stuck in the seasonal slowdown. I said this explicitly during the onboarding session and in the questionnaire. I expected a paid career service to speed things up. In reality, it did the exact opposite.

Before the first onboarding session, I was assured that the expert would review my information and CV in advance. I sent everything and gave access to the assigned team. Surprise, surprise: five minutes before the meeting, I got an access request from some external account, which turned out to belong to the “expert”. Then came confusion with the meeting link, access to materials, etc., and it took about 10 minutes just to get connected. And then, ta-da: half an hour later the call dropped because the expert was using free Zoom. Seriously? The program costs a grand, and you can’t pay for Zoom?

The expert herself did not seem particularly prepared for the conversation (hardly surprising if she hadn’t reviewed my materials beforehand) and barely led the session. I mostly listened to generic comments about how the market was “depressed” and everyone was basically in survival mode. Very encouraging. In the end, the career hypothesis I expected the consultant to help me formulate was something I had to come up with myself.

After I complained, Rolevia did replace the expert. The second session was noticeably better and, honestly, that was the only part of the whole experience that left a decent impression. Although one hour for a career consultation is, frankly, not much at all.

Then came the CV work. The first draft arrived late, which the team acknowledged themselves. I sent a detailed email with corrections and expected them to be made and the updated version returned the same day, as promised.

It took about three days, and in the end they mostly fixed the minor details while leaving the main issues.
Some of my comments were simply marked as “resolved” even though nothing in the text had changed. The key issues were just ignored.

The final CV was two pages instead of one, with no clear focus and no coherent story - exactly the kind of CV they had shown as a bad example during the introductory webinar. The skills were dumped into one block at the end (on page two, in case a recruiter has nothing to do at work and feels like doing some extra reading). Completely irrelevant skills were left in, while some of the most important ones were missing.

When I explained all of this again, I was told that the CV was “generally good”, the structure was ATS-compliant, and two pages were perfectly fine. Then they asked me to send the list of requested changes all over again. Hello? I had already written them all down. Someone just needed to actually read them.

Instead of focusing on my job search, I ended up acting like a manager babysitting an unreliable employee - chasing deadlines, sending reminders, and explaining the same things several times. Added value: zero. I could have done this type of work with ChatGPT. This was absolutely not what I expected.

I asked for a refund. They then took up another hour of my time trying to persuade me and explain why I was wrong - they specifically asked for a Zoom call and kept at it for the entire hour. In the end, they refunded €850 out of €1,000.

So my result was €150 wasted, a lot of time and nerves lost when I needed to focus on finding a job, and three weeks of stress - and even the CV still wasn’t finished. I formulated the main career hypothesis myself and did not get any real insights from the program.

My conclusion: I absolutely do not recommend Rolevia or Kristina Zozulia.
