Absolute disrespect from the agency

Absolute disrespect from the agency, very poor level of service. The property was not prepared and does not meet basic standards. The flat is completely different from the advert, which is considered misleading. Avoid this agency at all costs.

We received written confirmation that the viewing was on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., but no one was there. Only after I called was I told it would take place on Thursday. This was very inconvenient for us, especially with a small child.

When we attended the rescheduled viewing on Thursday, the property was in very poor condition compared to the advert: mould in the shower, dirty carpets, stained sofa, rubbish inside, and one room not even accessible. The flat did not match the photos online and was not presented in a suitable state for potential tenants, especially at £825 per month. this is terrible

We would like to clarify that at the time of your viewing, the property had only recently become vacant. You attended the first available viewing date following the previous tenant’s departure. It was clearly explained during the viewing that the property was not yet ready and was scheduled to be fully cleared, deep cleaned, with carpets shampooed and showers regrouted prior to being re-let. Once these works are completed, the property will fully reflect the images and standards shown in the marketing photographs.

It is also important to note that no concerns were raised during the viewing. In fact, you enquired about when the property would be ready and how you could apply, which indicated your interest and understanding that the property was still in the process of preparation.

With regard to the viewing date, we apologise for any inconvenience caused by the short-notice rescheduling. This was due to access issues following the prior tenancy ending, and we appreciate your understanding in this matter.

We take all feedback seriously and remain committed to ensuring all properties are presented to a high standard once the necessary preparation works have been completed.

worst experience ive ever had with a private rent agency.

very bad company to rent with. dont help with problems in the rented house, dont ever respond. and dont care about your well being untill they want there rent. after getting it they clear off for another month. NATASHA RODGERS ESPICALLY, very very rude woman. woman thinks she has it all when really she cant even get a bloody email right. disgraceful behaviour from her attitude and also told me to 'hire my own plumber' when there pipes burst. also TRIED to take MY DEPOSIT off me and hand IT ALL TO MY EX. ILLEGAL.

They have no communication skills

Their employees have communication problems. We left notes to the responsible persons because they were not at the office. They never called us back. We emailed the person we had been advised, but he never responded. If this company can hire or sell any property, any company can do it as well! I blacklisted this company. I will never work with them.

Rogers residential have been amazing

Rogers residential have been amazing. Very quick at signing the lease as i needed to rent somewhere else in such a short time. Very reliable and supportive to any assistance needed. Would 100% recommend. Thankyou rogers residential

Rodgers residential has to be the worst…

Rodgers residential has to be the worst estate agent I have ever came across. I have commented on here before about the scandals and nastiness of ther team. This time I'd like to let people know that how they have treated my x partner and my 5 kids that are in 1 of ther over priced properties.my 5 kids 1 of which is a premature baby is left in house with no hot water or heating especially at this time of the year is sickening and just shows what type of people work ther after reporting it to be fixed she is still waiting and told it could be another 2 to 3 days before any1 calls. This is ridiculous this is a mother trying to keep her kids warm to be mouthed of to by the staff for making a point that they have a legal obligation to provide hot water and heating at ther properties

You must not be fully up to date with all of the information, although we have no obligation to comment to you regarding any one else’s tenancy, I will clarify for you.

We received a heating maintenance issue at 10.27am on 4th January which we actioned to an engineer to ensure we had a contractor present within a 24 hour period.
On 5th January at 8am (21.5 hours later) a contractor attended.
You are absolutely correct, landlords do have a duty of care towards their properties and tenants, and according to The 1985 Landlord and Tenant Act this includes providing a reliable source of hot water and heating. In cases of emergency such as no heating or hot water, boilers are recommended to be fixed in 24 hours.

We look after hundreds of properties and as I am sure you can appreciate a lot of these have boiler issues at this time of year, our apologies you feel your boiler should have been attended to immediately, however, we have tenants with all circumstances also needing emergency repairs. Unfortunately, you and your ex-partner verbally abusing, shouting, swearing, and threatening members of staff yesterday couldn’t fix the boiler any quicker as we couldn’t physically get our contractor to you any faster.

We are pleased the boiler is now fixed once again and inside the 24 hour time frame.

After about 5 months of frustration…

After about 5 months of frustration looking for rentals I contacted Charlotte, right away she was the most helpful person, polite professional and full of options. She made the process so simple from first phone call enquiring - to signing the tenancy agreement. By far the best estate agent I have dealt with!

Charlotte, the person we dealt with mostly, was helpful and made the stressful process of renting very comfortable. One of the most professional agents in Belfast from my two month experience of trying to rent before I found them. I had gotten covid when I was supposed to do my face to face viewing and they kindly took the detailed video of the place, to help me to view the property. I will be mostly liaising with them when it comes buying a home or renting again.

Charlotte is fabulous!

I am beyond grateful to have had such an amazing estate agent working on our behalf! Charlotte Luft has been fabulous to work with!
She is professional, on the ball, and always willing to answer any questions. She has been extremely efficient, and always follows through with what she says she will do. Her efforts have made the whole rental process so much less stressful.
Charlotte went above and beyond in helping us to secure a flat, and it has been a blessing to have her work with us. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional estate agent!

If there was an option for a zero star rating for this agency, we would most certainly be choosing that.

Me and my co-applicant have been searching for a property to rent in Belfast for the past few weeks and we had been in contact with Rodgers Residential regarding a few of the properties they had advertised. My co-applicant had been to view a few. They seemed eager to get the money off us before we had even viewed the contract, which according to themselves is 'confidential' until you have placed a substantial deposit. However, after researching we had understood that deposits were not to be paid until the contract has been made available to the proposed tenants. The staff of this agency very clearly have a severe lack of professionalism. This not only comes across in their emails, but also over the phone. My co-applicant had been called by the agency 2 times while she was in work, where she was unable to take the phone call. However, according to the lack of response they had received from us, they took it upon themselves to decide that they were not the right agency for us. We had not been informed of this and had I not rang them this afternoon I do not think we would have been informed at all, judging by the very blunt, rude attitude that I was addressed with by James over the phone. Their service is ridiculously bad and unprofessional and we wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone looking for property in the Belfast area. To us, they seem to only care about getting their money, because they certainly do not care about their applicants. If there was an option for a zero star rating for this agency, we would most certainly be choosing that.

First time buyer

I recently bought my first home through Rodgers and Alia was a fantastic help. Alia was very friendly, responsive and patient with my many questions. Alia could not have been more helpful and made the whole process very straightforward and stress free.

Hidden Gem

Tamara at Rodgers Residential has managed my apartments for quite a while now & is a true gem. I find Tamara extremely organised, helpful, courteous & a pleasure to to do business with. She goes above & beyond to keep things in order & keep my tenants happy. Nothing is ever too much trouble to her, her dedication & immediate attention to details or queries is a credit to her.
