Rocking leather boots SUCK

I really do not think this company should even get a 1 star
Their boots have sunk to shit. Have no idea why they changed their materials but they are horrible. We bought from them about 5 years ago, still wearing those boots. Ordered a new pair this month wore them 5 days the heel has a bubble in it so it makes a loud noise when walking. They told us to just beat on the heel with a board to pop the bubble. Yeah that did not work. But the worse part is the boots have a slice in the boot by the baby toe, and they will not accept a return. Said that we would have to pay to send them back but they will not be replacing them or fixing them. So we are out $230. The box they came in was much better quality than their shitty boots. Save yourself the headache and do NOT buy anything from Rockinleather.

Do NOT support this business! Scam

Very rude. Very unprofessional. Does not give you timelines. Will come back and say that they did give you a timeline. When you ask for a refund, they just tell you that’s not possible. They use emojis to laugh at you in messages. Deceptive and a scam.

two pair, neither as described

I have bought two pair of boots. I would have returned both pair because of fit. The first pair I did not have time to return. I did return the second pair but it cost me $20 bucks. They refunded me the money for the boots with no problem. I would like to have talked to someone but that is not possible. Thier communication skills are poor. I ordered a harness boot in black. The quality of the boot is good, but it is not a narrow toe as described. Also the sizes are not accurate. First boot was too big, second too small. I wish they were close by so i could just walk in. I don't appreciate having to pay for return shipping when the boot is not as described.

DO NOT BUY from this company

DO NOT BUY from this company! Poor quality defective items. Their return policy is deceptive and misleading. You are stuck with unwearable DEFECTIVE POOR QUALITY items unless YOU pay $40+ to return and then fight for your refund! and they charge a $15 fee if you refuse/return to sender!

I ordered a pair of boots, and before I even tried them on, I immediately realized they were not as described or as shown in photos. Aside from the wide square toe, the obvious wide shaft that appeared to “flare out” at the top which created an unsightly silhouette of the boot shaft under the leg of my “boot cut” Wrangler Jeans, (which are MADE TO FIT over the top of cowboy boots). The boot shaft is so wide, that you can see the entire outline of the top edge of the boot shaft protruding, & the leg of the jeans are so tight over the shaft of the boot, that when I sat down then stood up I had to bend over to pull the leg down as it was bunched up over the top edge of the shaft.

I contacted RockinLeather immediately, to request a return shipping label, & was unbelievably informed that “I” would have to pay return shipping! (around $40 plus dollars!!)
So, thinking I would be “stuck” with these boots, I tried them on again with a different brand and size of (boot cut) jeans.

It was the same. Then, as I was walking back and forth, trying to figure out how bad it would look with the boot showing under the jeans like that, I realized that there was a hard stiff protruding ridge in the back of the heel, (where the shaft is attached to the body of the foot of the boot), which after only a few minutes began to rub my heel raw.

In my opinion this company negligently & knowingly sells defective, poorly made products, knowing that the majority of customers are not going to pay (lose) an additional $40 bucks (or more) on top of the $200 plus paid for the item. Although the return policy states returns are accepted, albeit “at the customers expense” & returns by means of refused shipments are also charged a $15 fee, deceptively hiding the fact all sales are final unless you want to lose more money on your defective purchase, by paying the return shipping, you are stuck with an unwearable pair of boots

In my opinion, this company is just out to rip customers off, by sticking them with unwearable, defective, poorly made merchandise. then REFUSING to accept a RETURN of the UNSATISFACTORY merchandise unless YOU pay to return the DEFECTIVE, POOR QUALITY merchandise.
