Refusing to remove a company listing on…

Refusing to remove a company listing on request wanting each of our employees to make separate request. We would never do business with anyone who spams, but this company seems to want to list contacts for people to spam, so they are not only wasting our staff time, but those of their customers as we will report each one for spamming.

Do not do business with this company

RocketReach's usable lead information is less than 50% accurate (not the 75% they boast)—their website malfunctions leading to hefty unauthorized charges to your credit card outside your subscription without any notifications.

Also, the customer service is poor. After finally getting a representative on the phone to reimburse the hefty unauthorized charges, she lectured me for over 20 minutes, insulted me, and then deducted credits from our remaining credits in our paid subscription plan.

To make a long story short, you can save time, grief, and money by not giving this company your credit card information. They are making a living by tacking on additional charges to your account without you knowing. Then they avoid reimbursing you with several passive emails with no contact information other than several different people's names and a generic support email. It took me three days and many unnecessary emails to get the reimbursement for the unauthorized charges.

Overall poor product, website functionality, business practices, and customer service.

Stole my personal information and even…

Stole my personal information and even published my work email which I do not have posted anywhere!
Reached out to their service department and nothing done yet but they are sending me emails on how I can benefit from their app!

A criminal organisation

Harvested personal information not even remotely available in the public domain. Abhorrent organisation - I can't understand how this isn't illegal!

Customer support is lacking

We have been trying to contact customer support about the duplicate lookups and undeliverable emails we found on our account to receive a credit, but they have been unresponsive for the last 3 weeks. I have sent them spreadsheets highlighting the duplicates and the undeliverable email addresses.

What's more, we hit the additional lookup limit that was not published anywhere on the website - additional lookups were $0.25ea, but are limited to only 600, and that's not communicated before purchasing a plan.

How to remove your private contact info

For all those people who are complaining about this company publishing your private information and they won't remove it ... do what I did.. I "improved" the results of my name by suggesting new contact info ... so now they tell people than
my email is 'f-word'you@rocketreach : )

Personal identifiable data published without consent, what to do here

Hi, I hope this will help those that found their personal identifiable data published by RocketReach without consent. First send an email to their customer support asking for your PII to be removed, stating of course that you didn't provide them any consent. If after a month you didn't receive any response from them or your profile is still active and visible on a Web search, start a formal complaint with the ICO.

Data breach scammers

They have stolen my data from other sites such as Linkedin and try to extort money and extra information if you request to take this info down. Absolute disgrace.

They stole my private data as well

They stole my private data as well, i don't understand how it is possible given all the EU, privacy, GDPR rules and a random company can publish personal info of other people without their consent.

I hope some regulators/authorities take some action and put this company down

Total scammers

Absolute con-artists. After they got access to my email address, they demanded my telephone number in order to register. When I enter it, they keep saying "Enter a valid phone number" - it is a valid number - I use it! (I have kept a screenprint of the page - with number obscured - in case they deny this.)

Obviously total scammers who are trying to get a load of personal information about people without providing the data they promise.

Rocketreach and LinkedIn Data Stealing Scam

I was doing a random search for my name while using a private browser when I came across the entire contents of my LinkedIn profile, all my email addresses as well as phone numbers posted on the website, rocketreach.co. I had not heard of this website before that day. My LinkedIn account is currently private and unsearchable, and no one can access it who is not already a connection or who does not have my email address. Other than that, I have not used my LinkedIn account in months and neither have I given anyone permission to use my personal information or post it online. It is therefore illegal to put my personal information out there without my permission. I did find a way to contact the site to have them take my personal information off their site, but this meant, verifying that the profile was mine by giving them my personal information (they wanted phone numbers, email address and my LinkedIn URL, which they were already in possession of, but I gave them my email address and LinkedIn URL only), which is odd because that was how they cement the fact that your information is accurate making a bigger mess of things and making it look like you gave them your information willingly, when in fact they stole it and you are just trying to have them take down everything. Next, a window popped up for me to verify my LinkedIn URL and email address through an autogenerated email and then another window popped on verification, where I clicked on "Remove my profile". Instantly, a message popped up on the screen announcing that my profile had been removed. They do say that my profile has been removed even though the Rocketreach result containing my profile still appears on Google Search when I input my name. I would like this organization dealt with. They are breaching privacy laws. I also want LinkedIn dealt with because I don't understand how my entire LinkedIn profile was copied over onto Rocketreach if the two companies were not in cahoots with each other. Thank you.

Horrible

If I could give less than 1 I would. This is criminal. They posted my personal email and cell phone number- which is private (not even sure how they got it, it isn't published anywhere). Now I have employees and candidates calling me late at night and on holidays.

1 star is too much

This company sells stolen personal data without any form of official consent. This is a major breach of GDPR and lack of any general business ethics.

RocketReach is making money out of our data !

RocketReach is making money out of our personal private data, of course without our aproval, they do not even delete data as per GDPR requests ! There should be created a banlist directory managed by Internet companies + EU consortium + NPO's that manage this list and all EU internet providers should ban access to such sites
