Excellent service and products. I had no issues with placing the order or contacting them to confirm delivery. Very helpful and professional delivery man. I would definitely recommend and use for any future projects.

I've placed a couple of delivery orders through Robbins Timber, and each time they've really gone above and beyond to help me (and to resolve a couple of issues that arose).

One of the main reasons I initially chose them was their ability to source and sell lightweight poplar ply in various thicknesses, which many other timber companies don't offer.

On a recent order, there were a couple of issues with the timber, so I emailed them directly with a few photos. Within 10 minutes, they'd called me, worked out a generous solution. I feel very satisfied with their help and service and would 10/10 recommend them to anyone else needing timber delivery. Thanks particularly to Aaran. :)

From initial contact to delivery the company impressed me. Staff members are polite and helpful, and after I placed the order I was kept informed of the progress. The delivery was carefully unloaded and the driver helpful, advising me on how to store the wood until needed. The quality of the wood is excellent and the price is very competitive. This was a large purchase for me, building my own Garden Office and Shed, and I have had excellent value for money. I have no hesitation in recommending this timber merchant.

Had some teething issues. Website wouldn’t let me checkout. Contacted them and they replied straight away. The said it would be £50 delivery to the Scottish Borders (even though it’s free delivery one £1k orders). I accepted but still wouldn’t let me checkout. They told me to go to their sister website. Their sister website didn’t have what they had.
Anyway they fulfilled the order and I got it delivered promptly. I’m mediocre with the product. There’s a few splits and a few tongues damaged. Hopefully I’ll be able to cut and make do. That’s the reason for 4 star. If I hadn’t have persisted, I’d still be looking.
5 star for communication. 5 star for the delivery driver who was a top guy

brilliant service. not local so delivery was a few extra days. had a sms from the driver the night before letting me know what time he was going to arrive and was a little early. in a world where we are still getting 12 hour delivery slots from larger companies where we have to wait in all day, this was definitely a plus for me.

Delivered on the day I selected, by a very friendly driver who helped me lug the timber through to my back garden. Looks to be great quality stuff.

Ordered 45 Sleepers for my garden and other bits , I received great service from the Robins team in arranging my delivery request to accommodate me visiting my bother in hospital . Special thanks to Shaun the who could not be more helpful in helping me store these and with a wealth of maintenance advice too ! .

Kept updated on the phone, cladding was delivered quicker than estimated, the wood was in great condition as just as advertised. The delivery guy was really friendly and helpful.

Will definitely be using them again in the near future.

Top quality timber products. Huge stock. Even cutting service. Supply all our jobs wether that be a length of architrave or a full pack of 4x2. Friendly, efficient staff. Nothing too much trouble. Used Robins Timber for over 35 years and will continue to do so.
