Avoid at all costs!

This is not a shop in Brighton but Hong Kong the gillet I bought was of a dreadful standard and not even the correct colour. Please avoid these con artists and save your money. Don’t be fooled by their website which looks very nice until the garbage arrives! The only place it was fit for was the bin and that’s exactly where it went! They had the cheek to ask me to post it back to Hong Kong at my expense which I refused to do!

Scam. Expensive. Awful.

My partner spent a fortune on this shop (note to self: never let them online shop unattended!). The items arrived from China and were absolutely shocking in quality. I requested a refund and was offered just £18 in compensation — despite the order costing over £200.

I refused the offer and was given a form to fill out for a return. After completing it, I paid £32 to send the items back to China. After four months of being told the package was “waiting at customs,” it was ultimately rejected — and I’m still left without a refund.

No resolution, no accountability. Just a costly and frustrating experience. Avoid this shop at all costs.

It's from China!

It's from China!
I am filling in forms to the card operator. The products eventually turned up all medium. The bomber jacket to be fair fitted and isn't too bad but only worth the discounted cost.
The other 2 were way too small and the zip in the dennim was terrible.
I complained immediately, but as we went through the process of having to send videos the 14 days ran out and even if it hadnt they can't swap them anyhow! Scam

Terrible Experience – Avoid Robinson Brighton!

I recently purchased what was advertised as a “luxurious fur winter jacket” for £59.95 from Robinson Brighton, which was supposedly marked down from £300 due to their closing down sale. However, just two days later, I discovered that identical jackets were being sold on various Asian websites for only £15-£25.

When I contacted customer service to cancel my order, I was told not to worry and that I could return the jacket once I received it. Unfortunately, when the jacket arrived, it had a disgusting smell and was nowhere near the luxurious quality promised.

I requested a refund, but customer service insisted I keep the jacket because they care about the environment and even tried to offer me a partial refund and vouchers to shop with them again—absolutely ridiculous! When I insisted on a full refund, they informed me that I would have to cover the delivery cost to return it. I ended up paying over £25 to send back a product that was misrepresented.

I’ve sent the item mid January 2025 and until today they haven’t received the item and don’t want to refund me my money. Their customer service keep saying that I have to wait until they receive the item. The tracking says the following for a very long time “ This item is still being assessed by the destination customs authority. If any further information is required before release they will contact the recipient directly”

This experience has been frustrating and costly. Avoid these scammers at all costs!

Don't touch anything they try to sell…

Don't touch anything they try to sell you. They have very good photos of absolute garbage that you think is sent from UK but all is sent from china. If you want to return anything then you have to pay postage and customs costs. Their western sounding company name is just a cover for a china company based in china. Customer services name Freja, fake name

Fraudulent Chinese Exporters - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

This company are completely fake and unreliable. Whatever you do DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

They advertise saying they are a small shop based in Brighton in the UK who are having a closing down sale due to pressure from mass market retail operations.

This is a complete falsehood. They are a Chinese scam outfit.

If you get caught, as I did, you will receive terrible, low quality, 100% polyester products instead of the 100% cotton linen items you ordered.

Any attempt to cancel an order prior to dispatch or to request any kind of refund will be rebuffed. They’ll claim they have met all requirements of your order.

Please don’t be taken in by these fraudsters. . .

Definitely do not order from this shop

Definitely do not order from this shop. Ordered a coat and when it arrived the quality was really poor so I sent it back tracked as requested, after several emails back and forth and me sending tracking numbers and photos of the coat returned to the address provided they still say they haven’t received the coat and it looks like it’s gone to a wrong address, but it was sent to the address that they provided?? I also rang the shop, they said a manager will call me back soon 🤷🏻‍♂️still waiting…as for Freja the customer service advisor who basically said I can not have a refund because they didn’t receive the item, even though I sent photos of the item at the address provided on their returns policy. I think I'm another customer who was duped by them.. nowhere does it say the goods comes from CHINA ! I thought I'd do a little digging as they haven't replied to my email. Oh wow I know why . How much would track & trace cost to return to CHINA ... my jumper is made of such poor quality material definitely not "Merino wool " more cheap polyester. it doesn't fit properly nothing like the picture, also the arms are so short . I purchased through Klarna so I've not yet paid & want to return. I've had no email as yet from the company and checking on line they seem to have disappeard how odd . I've reached out to Klarna stating I believe their a scam company .

I fell for it too.

My delivery arrived today and I wouldn't wear it if they paid me. Quality is shocking and clearly a sweat shop team are making these. Ironically, I smelt a scam before I ordered, so I contacted them to see if they were legit. This is what they responded with.

"Thank you for reaching out with your concerns. I can assure you that our website is legitimate and secure for online shopping. We do not have a physical store, but you can conveniently order our products online through our website. We take pride in sourcing our clothing from reputable suppliers to ensure quality and customer satisfaction."

So I placed the order in good faith, and fair play to them all items were delivered. But the quality of fabric, quality of workmanship and look and feel is awful.

I'm not even going to bother trying to send them back, I'm going to use this as a lesson to myself for being sucked in. And some charity shop will benefit.

A horrible scam

A scam. Products are nothing like advertised. I thought I could return them but no information in delivery package and nothing on the email invoice. You get sent through to a blank page. A total scam. I think Instagram should take responsibility for adverts scamming like this.

SCAM

SCAM. They are not based in Brighton. They sent poor quality clothes, nothing like the images on the website. The returns label directs me to send the clothes to Wang Maoqin, Lane 1177, Jianlan Road, Meixu Street, Yinzhou District, Ningbo, 315100, Zhejiang, China. So if you're ever in that area, you can knock on the door and find out who is responsible for stealing my money.

Scam

This is not a store in Brighton. The goods are really poor quality and if you want to return, then they will ask you to pay to have them shipped back to China. Website and social media accounts have disappeared so no doubt they are on to the next scam

SCAM. They might be other websites similar to this one

I wish they had no star option. Like everyone else here I got fooled by China and purchased some items thinking I was buying premium brands. I should have known better really. I realised straight away it was a scam and I called my bank, Lloyds, while the payment was still pending. However, they did nothing about it. They asked me to wait until the payment had gone through before I did anything, madness. The items arrived from China of course and I was laughing with myself because the premium leather shoes were made of plastic and the jackets were such a bad quality. I checked Temu and they were half price for what I’ve paid.Following a number of emails going back and forth, them trying to change my mind and keep the items they agreed to give me an address to return the items. However, the address does not exist and the items are now stuck in customs in China. FedEx told us the items remain unclaimed. By the way they had another website called Harrisoncambridge exactly the same set up. I’ve reported both websites and I know Robinsonbrighton is now down. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’re are others out there for every city or town.

Purchased items via credit card on 7th January. Chased via e-mail as I was expecting a prompt delivery. At this point realised that the items were from China. Finally delivered yesterday. Quality not too bad but items far too small and not as advertised. Website has now "mysteriously" disappeared so no way of contacting them although as others have pointed out the shop in Brighton doesn't exist. I have contacted the bank who have assured me that I will be able to get my monies back

Shame I can't give it 0 stars

Shame I can't give it 0 stars - For a start these are NOT sale goods - they seem to come via drop shipping from China. The colour was wrong, the size was wrong and the material feels like it was made from a bin liner - truly shocking and rather than offer a refund they keep offering more and more discounts ( we're up to 30% now) for me to keep it. ( not sure how 30% is going to change the colour nor make it fit) AVOID
