I had fought a losing battle with squirrels stealing all the bird food for months: acrobatics and simply demolishing the feeders. Searching online I discovered Roamwild Pestoff bird feeders and or... See more

My experience with ordering was great the only problem is I can’t get it to work either the seeds fall out in a mass or stuck and won’t come out in fact my hubby is just taking it to bits to try again and I bought two .

Happy With Final Outcome
I have placed a number of orders for bird feeders and accessories but the last three orders were problematic and the customer service was appalling.
I ordered a tub of suet nuggets and a starling proof cage, on receipt I found, as other people have, that the packaging was extremely flimsy and the tub of nuggets had split open. The package didn't look like it had been abused as customer services suggeted when I finally got a reply from them. It is entirely possible to use environmentally friendly and reduced packing without leaving the items in the parcel open to damage so I do not accept their stock excuse of reduced packaging. They weren't really interested in hearing anything contrary to their view.
Another order for a couple of baffle rings hadn't arrived after 5 days and when I received a reply to my email after 2 days, I was told that the items had been sent and that I would have to wait for 10 days in case they turned up; they didn't turn up. They eventually sent replacement items.
The last order I placed on 11 June didn't arrive on the due date of 15 June and the courier returned the package to roamwild due to an incomplete address. The incomplete address was apparently my fault according to customer services! While the package was on its way back to them I got an email from roamwild asking me to pay an additional carriage charge for redelivery. Since they are responsible for getting goods to their customers I refused to pay the additional charge and after another 2 days they agreed to send the items without the additional charge but it was very begrudging and restated that it was not their fault that the package was incorrectly addressed. They received the package back on 17 June but when I asked for confirmation on 19 June that my order had been shipped I received a reply on 20 June saying that it had not shipped but it would be sent "right away". By 23 June my patience had run out so I cancelled the order and instigated a charge back to my credit card.
Looking at other reviews and my own experience I have come to the conclusion that roamwild seem to think they are never wrong, and they send confrontational replys to poor reviews. Their tardy responses to queries/emails is akin to dealing with a utility company not a family run business that they are so keen to promote. Their stock answer to criticism is that they have sold a million bird feeders however, we only have their word for that, but surely if it is true they must be able to afford to employ sufficient staff to deal with communications in a timely manner.
Nedless to say I will not be ordering anything else from roamwild.
Following contact with roamwild I have amended my review as they had shipped the order I had placed after I had cancelled it; they have not charged me for the goods.
I have never had a problem with the quality of thier bird feeders or the bird food which are both good quality. So my faith in the company has been restored. 4 stars due to the length of time elapsed between ordering 11/06/26 and reciving 06/07/26.

It’s just a great company to deal with
It’s just a great company to deal with, let me know that my order would be running late. I asked about the 2.0, advice I was given to stop the 🐦⬛ has been a success. The 3.0 is brilliant, I’ve now have gold finches, never had them before. Best feeder I’ve ever had.

Great service and the birds love the feeders. We have blue tits, great tits, green finches, gold finches, (wood peckers - try but go for the fat balls), nut hatch, sparrows. Even the robins have learnt to use it. I use the corvid inserts to protect the peanuts from local crows and magpies. (Sorry, but there's plenty of road kill for them!)
The roamwild bird feeder really works
The roamwild bird feeder really does prevent squirrels from accessing the bird seeds/food inside the container. I recently bought one. As long as you hang it at least 18 inches from a pole, bush or tree the squirrel cannot get to the food. Even when they climb on it they just slide off. Great piece of kit. Saves wasted feed as the food cannot drop to the ground .
I have a video of the squirrel falling off.

Just fixed this in the garden seems blue tits use it awaiting evidence of others.Checked camera a woodpecker feeding by holding on to base of unit.

Very happy with the service and product from RoamWild. I bought the pest-off bird feeder 3. It was delivered very quickly and the birds started using it by the end of the first day.

Their squirrel free bird feeder is just as they say- no squirrels, no big birds, just lots of small garden birds. In my case all sorts of tits and goldfinch.
They encouraged me in the beginning because I bought just before Nesting season and having lived in the Country had never noticed the local birds being so shy, but maybe in a town environment they are much shyer. They are now in abundance!

Great product
After giving up feeding birds because my previous feeder spilled so much seed, I tried a Roamwild feeder. Was a bit worried at first as it took weeks for the birds to use it. Now I am delighted as I have so many beautiful small birds feeding with minimal spillage. Great product.
Delivery delay of almost 2 week, poor updates
I placed an order on the 6th June for 6 jars of bird butter. On the 8th I received the tracking information, which was great but by the 11th there was still no tracking information on the parcel. I chased the delivery to be told that there was a backlog due to the volume of orders and that the goods would be dispatched the following week! So not the 2-3 day delivery time as stated it would be once the tracking information was received. A request for a refund of the delivery charge was requested but was told this would have to be passed on to management to consider, still no update.
The really annoying thing is that according to the website by now the goods were out of stock and wouldn’t dispatch until the 17th. Why couldn’t this information have been passed on and I been informed of the delay?
We are now on the 18th and still no update to the tracking, again another email and a request to cancel the order as I had to purchase the goods and elsewhere.
Surprise surprise the following day the goods dispatched. With a response now stating the tracking had updated and the delivery would be received in a couple of days.
No mention of me requesting a refund, how to return the goods as I had to purchase elsewhere or even the refund of the postage?
Very disappointing as I have purchased previously with no issues and would have been happy to again had I been told that the goods had gone out of stock due to demand. But to receive the goods almost 2 weeks after the order was placed and tracking provided is not very good.
20th June and the goods have been received.
I have worked in customer service in the parcel industry for over 20yrs and have always found that honesty is the best policy when it comes to keeping customers, maybe something to take on board.

I ordered the much praised bird feeder . I ordered a cage addition it did not arrive with the rest of the items I was not best pleased! How ever on contact it was promptly sent. I love feeding the birds and have tried many feeders that promise they will block the larger birds and squirrels . It is awful to watch the smaller more fragile birds being bulled as they struggle to get food. This feeder actually works both the squirrel and the crows literally took one look and have not returned since ! I am very impressed! And so happy to watch all of the many small birds free to feed in peace.

Query …Received the latest order from…
Received the latest order from Roam-wild today. Very pleased as usual great feeder . However it’s a shame that the stainless steel perch extenders were not included . Is this a change of policy or a packaging error. The feeder is still of good quality and value. AA Ingram.
Excellent quality
Excellent quality, considering we would not have been known to birds for leaving treats, it only took them a day to find the feeders. As did the squirrels, but they gave up quickly, as they were not able to get any food. Its so lovely to see the song birds come into the garden to feed.
