Great bit of security kit. No big chains or locks to carry just the lock that fits in my pocket & great piece of mind when I leave the bike. I’ve recommended it to a few friends & some have bought one.

I am very happy with my Roadlok. I would be giving 5 stars, except for one detail. It would certainly simplify the installation process if Roadlok provided a link to show which spacers (for the caliper mount) are required for each make/model of bike. I was able to figure it out, but it was a slow process. Otherwise, I am extremely happy with the product.

Lock cylinder didn’t work and a replacement was swiftly sent.

A great concept and a great piece of engineering. The bolts and spacers included cater for just about every combination.

Good equipment, good instructions. Initial customer service not great but follow up very good.

A bit technical but stay with me for a sec, cos this is down right dangerous for users:

Instructions CLEARLY STATES that the bolts’ depth NEED TO MATCH the bike’s thread depth. Well, the bolts supplied are 5mm too short.

I’ve contacted Roadlok to get the correct bolt lengths, and the managing director Ian McCarthy replied saying that he'd look into this and allow him a few days to get back, but nothing ever since. I've sent 3-4 chasers over a month now and still nothing.

In the end, I went to a couple of hardware stores to hunt the right bolt length and managed to get them.

Here's what Roadlok needs to fix:

1. Provide the CORRECT bolt lengths to begin with. Your installation instructions insist it. Why not do the right thing?

2. Send the CORRECT bolts to your customer when requested. This is not some 20 bucks lock. It's USD $239.99 for god sake.

If you not doing either, you're just choosing profit over your customers' lives and safety man. Shame..

Absolutely brilliant product, easy to install and so easy to use. So many people come up and ask what it is and I always get great comments.

Such a small lightweight product took a long time to be delivered

The RoadLok system worked great for my 2014 Yamaha Vmax.

Straightforward fitting to my motorcycle. Takes a few goes to get used to using it but then becomes second nature. Just remember to leave a bit of leeway to allow room to move back and forth until the pin locates in one of the disc holes. A very useful addition to my bike’s security.

Already had a roadlok on another bike. Buying this one was easy, after a quick email to select the correct model needed order paced and received in just a few short days.

What I appreciate about Roadlok is that it functions as intended. Using this system gives me confidence that my motorcycle is secure.

I’ve had this piece of kit for just over a year. I ride all year. Despite regular maintenance and lubrication (with graphite) it seized. Despite several emails to the company I have had no reply. So I now have an expensive piece of aluminium on my workbench.

Great product and great communication. It was easy to install and looks good . No heavy lock to carry.

Really responsive and helpful when I had questions pre-sales. The kit itself is brilliant. Incredibly well made. Well packaged. Well conceived. Package arrived promptly.

A superb product that makes “carrying” a lock so easy; just need the key and pin barrel so it’s weight and space saving.
Even more importantly it’s easy to fit and use and I can’t topple off my bike if I forget to remove the lock as there is no bike movement with it fitted.
Swift delivery and excellent installation instructions.
I thoroughly recommend the Roadlok disc lock.

I received my disc lock as a suggested gift and the lock has easily met my expectations. It was easy to install and is very well built. I like the fact that it is permanently installed and you only need to insert the pin to “lock” the motorcycle in place.

I cannot get hold of a spare rubber cap for the keyhole. Always out of stock everywhere
