Not a professional company.

The reason I have not given 1 star is that the actual installation was adequate without any real mistakes. Installers seemed like they knew what they were doing but in hindsight they gave me some pretty poor advice.
The owner Bob didn't understand the complexities of the equipment he sold us. From the outset we asked for a system which was able to stand alone off grid if there was a power cut. He said ours could. After installation we found out this was not the case and had to argue to the point of threatening court action for him to rectify the situation. At this point his installers were so embarrassed they refused to return so we had to find another company to do the work with Bob then paying us to pay them.
We talked for a long time about where to put the equipment with Bob and the installers saying it was all fine to be outside. We have recently had a lot of problems with the batteries not charging which after long investigation turned out to be due to them being too cold to operate adequately outside.
I've just had to build a compartment around the batteries with insulation and a heater installed.
Recently we have had one of the meters RM installed break down and have had our request for a replacement completely ignore by the owner Bob.
RM were the cheapest quote we had. Was it worth the money saved ? Questionable to be honest.
If I was to do the job again I'd use a company with more of a track record.
I would not be recommending RM Green Energy .

Excellent Service and Smooth Solar Panel Installation

We recently had solar panels installed by R M Green and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From the very beginning, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. Special thanks to Bob, who was exceptionally helpful throughout the process. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made sure we felt confident at every stage.

The installation was smooth, on time, and done to a very high standard. We’re already seeing the benefits and are so glad we made this decision. We highly recommend R M Green to anyone considering switching to solar energy. Great service, great people, and great results!
