River Teign Shellfish are a family run business, led by a father and son team. With over 40 years experience, our team work the River Teign, harvesting quality shellfish that can be found in the best restaurants and eateries across the UK. Due to public demand we now also deliver to the general public. Many of the methods used to farm our quality shellfish haven't changed in decades, however, whilst we have many years experience in the industry, we are anything but stuck in our ways. We are constantly researching methods to increase our production whilst maintaining an ecological balance. This is something which the company believe is crucial to a sustainable future for the industry, you could say we are anything but 'shellfish'!

Great quality mussels.
Have had over 5kg of mussels from this company. All brilliant quality.
The delivery was great and free! Everyone enjoyed the large size and taste. No grit or sand. Highly recommend.

Fantastic mussels
This is the second time we’ve had mussels, again Friendly delivery, lovely clean mussels, 100% closed before cooking and 100% open after cooking. Very tasty. Won’t be getting our mussels from anyone else from this point forward.
Had a whole cock crab as well, which was well cooked and tasty.
