Love the dress. It is winter so I won't get to wear it for awhile but I have something to look forward to. I will have to shorten it since there are not petite sizes. Looking forward to summer!

I am very happy with my recent dress from River Goddess. Pattern was same as advertised in line, size was perfect - same as previous order, fabric is lovely, lightweight and soft. Easy to launder, machine wash and hang to dry = no ironing 🙌

To expensive to return from NZ
I ordered a dress that was in the correct size according to your size guide. Unfortunately the dress was too small and had to be returned. It cost $20 to send back from NZ.

Poor customer service
Great first purchase, but poor service on the second. Dress didn’t match the photo, was see through, return dragged out for weeks, and promised refund became store credit. Disappointing experience.

Do not bother with these crooks unless youre only interested in donating $$$$$ to them!!!
Ordered a dress via express post, it was delivered after a MONTH!!!!, off constant emails, either being ignored or given the excuse that they are busy and or its just been the weekend!!!
I immediately returned the dress, it wS delievred 3 weeks ago, and its rhe same s$&@, enails ignored or making excuses that they are busy & will look into it!!!
Therefore again, avoid these crooks, they are absolutely disgusting and im taking it futher!!!

Never received my dress
No stars would be more accurate since I never received the dress I ordered. I ordered a dress from them in july few weeks later I saw the dress was waiting to be picked up in Australia, I contacted RiverGoddess and they told me they would look into it (I live in Iceland) and promised to update me when they had more info, this was almost 5 weeks ago. I have tried to contact them twice since then urging them to deliver the dress or refund me, they haven't answered me. It's been 8 weeks since I ordered the dress, it is time to face facts, I am probably not going to receive the dress or the refund. RiverGoddess.co might be a scam!
Update: I finally got a refund one week after writing this review.

We’re truly sorry for the frustration and delay you experienced with this order. Unfortunately, the parcel was held during international transit and marked as awaiting collection in Australia. At that point, we had to wait to hear back from the Australian postal service and our shipping partners to understand what had happened and what options were available.
We completely understand how disappointing this delay and the lack of timely updates would have felt, and we acknowledge that our communication during this period did not meet the standard we aim for. For that, we sincerely apologise.
Once it became clear that the parcel would not be delivered, we processed a full refund, which has now been completed. Thank you for confirming this in your update.
We’re a small, independent Australian business, and while international shipping issues are rare, this experience has prompted us to improve our follow-up and communication around overseas orders so this doesn’t happen again.

2nd purchase with this company. First was great. This one not so much. I did email them immediately upon receipt and did not receive a response. The dress I ordered arrived in the incorrect size and the colour looked nothing like the picture. Very disappointing.

Order never received.
5/30/25 I ordered a dress 20 days ago (order #8420). I paid extra for faster shipping (3-5 business days) and eagerly followed the package tracking. When I got home on the day of delivery, there was no package to be found. I talked with the mail carrier and visited the post office before emailing the company. After 3 days, I received no reply. I sent another message via the "Contact Us" page on the company's website and still have not received a reply. Beware of ordering from River Goddess. You may just be giving your money away. I will update this review if the matter is resolved.
6/3/25 - The River Goddess folks got back to me! They let me know that a signature is required for express parcels and that they will follow up with Australia Post to figure things out. I hope we can solve this!
