I just opened a 2-year deposit account for my Dutch Company, and I must say I was very impressed with how smooth the whole process went! Their Dutch representative, Jelle van der Wind, is an absolute delight to work with, quick and straightforward! Of course, the bank needs "a lot" of information, but once that was settled, everything went very easy. I highly recommend RiverBank and of course Jelle!
Good website, clear and quick procedure.
The personal and friendly contact with Jelle van der Wind was amazing!
It is great to have a real person on the phone. They also offer great rates. Website looks a bit outdated though, but nothing to complain.
Waste of time online and over phone with a person who repeat (must fulfill 250 criteria to get accepted for a small buisness loan) While major condition is to have turnover PA as 30K while my compnay got over five times more... She had no answer but: There are 250 criteria / excuses to reject a demand - and basically they are just collecting data- Dont even try...
Who wants a 'Bank' that spams potential customers to lure them into using their services?
I would not recommend this company at all. They dig deep into your personal and financial life — asking for bank balances, full financial history, sensitive documents, even private business contracts. They want to know every single detail about you and your business.
After providing all this personal and confidential information, they ended up offering only a tiny amount of financing — completely disproportionate to the time, effort, and privacy you give up. It’s simply not worth it. You end up sharing your most sensitive information for nothing in return.
Save yourself the trouble and look for other options that respect your privacy and your time.
