The company is good as I have received a refund I wasn’t expecting… HOWEVER, taking 50% yes 50% of my refund is excessive and I think it’s an absolute joke!!!

I received a letter from HMR&C asking for more details about my tax refund request. I immediately found it strange because I didn't remember making such a request. Then, I started reading the request and it became even more absurd. It's a request for a refund for trips that I supposedly made since 2021, several trips for work. The problem is that I never made these trips, since 2019 I've been working in a warehouse, always at the same address and I've never made any trips for work. Now comes the worst part, RISEWAVE MEDIA LTD made the request in my name, took my data from I don't know where, filled out a form saying that I authorized them to make the request and receive it for me. As soon as I finished reading the request, I called HMR&C to alert them. I hope they receive an unexpected visit.

This is a horrible scam company
This is a horrible scam company, they are very fraudulent and misleading, they collect your tax and take half of it. Please call HMRC to check if they will be collecting your tax refund before it's too late. They even gave me that half of my money after I called them many times.
