After reading all good reviews here I was very disappointed when my first order came:
- all meat and fish items were frozen. Even sausages and salted fish!
- There were only several days left before expiry date on cheeses and sausages. That's really annoying, when you pay this much for 4 sausages and they arrive frozen, packed a year ago and have only few days left before expiration!
- fish and sausages had too much salt in them to our taste

I’m sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with your first order.
We have chosen to have many frozen products, as it extends the shelf time and brings a great opportunity for small farmers and businesses to get their amazing products to all of Denmark. Under every product on our website, you’ll find a symbol that indicates whether the product is frozen or chilled.
Furthermore, has it been confirmed by one of Denmark's leading nutrition experts, that an optimal raw material that is frozen under the right conditions and then thawed and cooked correctly, loses less than 5% in both sensory and nutritional value.
We have a 100% natural ingredients policy, and therefore there is a short period of shelf time for our products, including our cheeses, but we always garanties at least 5 days from delivery to expiration date.
I know that our ‘Vildt grillpølse, original’ has been marked as ‘stop madspild’ when you ordered, and the expiration date was written in the tekst, under the product.
I apologize for any inconvenience and misunderstandings. Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it when our customers take the time to tell us where to improve.

Instructions read; be honest. so I will be honest. It's great food! every products seemed fused with flavour and care and dare I say even love. A bit cheesy but not one single product I've bought has been and anything but excellent. Once and a while you think, wow that's all expensive! but even the chocolate that cost 88 kroner did not disappoint. when I gave a piece to my friend. her eyes opened wide and she couldn't say anything for like a minute. So for me that is important. We do not est out much anymore when you have gourmet sent to your door. Best regards Tammy Lain, Aalborg.
Every single box I've received from Rigtigmad so far has been a delight to open, cook, and eat. Good range of products, quality is extremely high and very tasty. Good explanations under each product and website provide excellent recipes as well. Can only give Rigtigmad my highest recommendations.
