I bought a set of books, only to find out they were only digital. NOWHERE in the description did it say they were only digital. In the process of checking out, they even asked for my shipping address. Why would you need a shipping address if you are not shipping anything? When I got the email for the download, I contacted them immediately. The email reply the next morning told me what I already new - they don't issue refunds on digital products. SHADY!!!! Never again.

Not hard copy books. They sold me a hard copy book with a (free) shipping fee and asked me for a shipping address and then delivered a download of the book. Website is complete scam and need to be shut down.

Because they made it sound like they were going to offer physical books and instead they sent me ebooks. Im an ebook person and they wont give me a refund for my order.

I also had this experience with ridsale thought I was purchasing books and instead got the download. I went back to my order and the website and could find nowhere where it indicated it was a download. In fact noted that is said "in stock". When I attempted to view the return policy the link did not work. I have emailed them but I am not expecting much based off of others reviews. I will be other ways to report them as well.

RIDISALE is a COMPLETE SCAM!! Don’t waist your money! Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had buying books online. Thought I had bought 3 books and found out minutes later that they were sending me ebook links… at real book prices!!! I tried repeatedly to get my money back but soon realized the joke was on me and I was getting totally ripped off! They responded each time with canned replies stating a no refund policy. Don’t buy from this company or you’re sure to get burned too.

Purchased a book advertised as a hardcover. In the description, it started hardcover and it even had the ISBN for the hardcover edition. I received an email with a link to a PDF. They are trying to blow me off.

Appears to be a scam. I ordered a book for a Xmas gift, only to be sent a link for a download. I did not want an eBook and there was nothing in the listing which disclosed that it was digital only. When I requested a refund per the explicit refund policy, I was told that they do not offer returns on digital material. This is not in the refund policy, and additionally, I did not know that I was ordering a digital book. Frankly, I suspect that it's a a bootleg copy, all things given. I will have to charge it back through my credit card. They're supposedly operating out of California, so I will also report it to their AG.

This site is exploitative. Nowhere does it state it is selling digital copies of books only. The checkout process even requests a shipping address to make you believe you are getting a physical item. You only realize it’s digital once you’ve check out. Their customer support is an AI bot that gives a scripted response about no refunds for digital copies and only tech support for accessing links. To get anywhere you’ll need to dispute with BBB or PayPal if you paid via their service. A complete waste of time and money. Their website needs to be shutdown if they will not list their site as digital products only.

Misleading description, no answer from customer "service" at all!!

Wish I read this review before i clicked the order confirmation.
As all other reviewers said, it's a e-books instead of physical books! The descriptions of the product didn't state it.
And their refund policy is unclear, it makes you think this is physical books instead of e-books.
I have asked to cancel my order without open the download link, they refused to cancel. Only provided the instructions how to download the e-books .
However,after reading all those reviews, I am afraid to open the download link and get hacked or get the illegal files which I am not intended to do.

BE aware!!!!

I bought some books for my child and assumed they would be delivered by mail. At no point during the purchase process was it clearly stated that the books were digital downloads. I only found this out after receiving the confirmation email.

This felt misleading and disappointing. If I had known they were digital-only, I would not have made the purchase. The website should be much clearer about the format of the products.

I do not recommend buying from this site unless you're specifically looking for digital books. Be careful and double-check out.

I ordered a series of books. And they turned out to be virtual books, not physical books. I was then sent a download link to an illegal site that supposedly steals information. I want a REFUND NOW! I paid $25.90 and I want it back.

If I could give it a zero I would. I placed an order for my son to receive the set of diary of a Wimpy kid books. This company asked me for a specific shipping address for the recipient which I gave them. Two weeks went by. I waited for my son who lives in a different state to receive his order he never did. yesterday I contacted the company to find out what it happened with his books. They informed me the books are virtual books. My son is 12 & where he lives there is no access to any kind of electronics. They don’t have computers. They don’t have tablets. He doesn’t have any way to access these books virtually.. They advertise books, they show you books & nowhere in their advertisement Does it say you’re going to be receiving virtual books. I placed this order for my son to receive books that He could hold in his hand and read. I asked them to give me a refund and the company refused.

Do NOT trust Ridisale.com. I purchased what was clearly advertised as a 19-book physical box set of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. The images show real books, the product title says “19 Books Collection Set,” and the website includes shipping and return information — everything points to a physical product.

Nowhere during the checkout does it say these are digital files or eBooks. After payment, I received only a download link.

This is blatant false advertising and a deliberate scam. I'm not the only one — others have had the same experience.

Save your money. Report the site. Warn others. Sites like this should not be allowed to operate.

Ridisale is a scam website they show books for sale but just send you an illegal link to an eBook file they stole. They don't advertise these books as eBooks on the website but after you pay they send an email with a link to download a file. When you call a recording says they don't accept calls. PayPal has the wrong phone number or Ridisale seems to be transferring the calls to another online book store. Kellogg is listed as the company name on PayPal.
I paid $7.50 for a book and I want my money back but I also want someone to put them out of business this is a scam. My first email reply was we don't give refunds on eBooks and the return email listed was fake.

Scam website. This site only sells e-books (illegally I would imagine) and does not sell physical books. They will not give you a refund either

I purchased the set of diary of a wimpy kid books. When they hadn’t arrived I emailed the company and they said I ordered the digital copies. Nowhere on the site did it say that. Not only that but the digital copies were terrible. These books are at most 200 pages long but these copies had a bunch of blank pages making the books over 600 pages. Avoid this site.

It is a scam website, why google us allowing this website to advertise with it?
Please STOP 🛑 doing business with this site if you dont want to lose your money. The site needs to be taken down.

Bait and switch. Link promised a hard copy with free shipping. Only received a digital pdf. Learned the hard way. Don't order from them.

Phone and address don't match. Also two of their pages have different phone and addresses. One of which goes to a dry cleaner.
