If I could give Linda Kennedy a ten star rating I would! She is an EXCELLENT gemologist and works for an OUTSTANDING company. My engagement ring, which had a large Tanzanite stone in it, was sadly lost. In trying to replace my stone, I first contacted Tanzanite One Mine in Tanzania, of which they then referred me to their parent company, Richland Gemstones, which is on the London Stock Exchange. Linda became my contact person and for four months we exchanged emails, photos, even a stone, that although was gorgeous, I sent back because I was so fussy about a perfect replacement. Finally the “one” arrived, 8.67 carats of beauty. Even the jewelers I showed it to here in the US exclaimed at its richness, appraising it at a much higher cost that what I paid! Linda was meticulous in her gem selection, her customer relations, and furthermore in her tenacity to find just the right stone. I am SO impressed with Linda and Richland Gemstones that I am now buying some more embellishment diamonds to add to the ring, which I am re-creating. Linda Kennedy and her company, Richland Gemstones, are absolutely amazing to work with. Excellent, with no reservations whatsoever!

We have purchased a number of stones from Richland now and each time Linda has been extremely helpful and communicated regularly, even though she is always in another time zone to us here in the UK. Highly recommended company to do business with if you are looking for high quality stones that have been resourced ethically.

My Experience with Linda is beyond words .,

Like most of the consumers I was skeptical if it's a good idea to buy a gem from a company that is not in my city nor in my country ., i said to myself how can i possibly buy an expensive gem of a high quality with out physically holding it unlike any consumer products that i shop at amazon or other online retailers .

Like me am sure for most of us a precious gem of high quality is an investment and something you carry on for generations.I haven't had much luck in trusting any retailers that i shopped around before ,either they are highly priced or of low quality gems or they sound too good to be true.
Then with my little research i found Linda from Richlandgemstones who also happens to be a gemologist and asked her for some advice .

I must sincerely say Linda proved me wrong by being extraordinarily patient in addressing all my fears and concerns and making sure i get the real idea of the gem with her video links and understanding my specifications.
I really haven't found a retailer who could have done a job better than Linda in handling a transaction., and I must say Richlandgemstones is fortunate to have an associate so knowledgeable , passionate and outstanding like Linda .

Lastly when my gem arrived in the mail and i had a glance for the first time ., i was on cloud 9 ....Yohoo.... and in all honesty the quality of the gem is superb .,the brilliance and clarity is nothing comparable to any of the retailers.

Linda went above and beyond expectations when my partner and I were looking at buying a sapphire for my engagement ring. Linda sent through pictures and a video of the gemstone, answered all our questions, and the delivery was prompt. We are over the moon with the stone itself and cannot wait to see it in our chosen setting. I think I may now have a sapphire stone addiction and will look at buying more from Richland Gemstones in the future. Linda responded to every question promptly and comprehensively. She was very honest about the stone (Australian sapphire) I was looking to purchase and even sent candid pictures of it. She is very courteous and made shopping at Richland Gemstones a breeze. The stone came quickly and was even better than we expected, and perfect for my fiancee's engagement ring.

Linda was such a driving, and calming force throughout the whole period of purchase, to on my fiancé's finger! Like most United States purchasers, we may expect something to order a ring, and get it three days later! Lol

I needed a particular size tanzanite for a ring and Linda promptly responded and found the absolute perfect stone for my future family heirloom.

I had been searching for a Tanzanite pendant to match a Tanzanite ring that my husband bought me some three years ago, but had not found anything suitable until I came across Richland Gemstones. There to my surprise was the exact design of pendant I had been looking for. I was a little nervous of buying the pendant on line as I was not sure that it would match the colour of my ring.
I e-mailed Linda Kennedy the gemmologist with a number of questions, I could not believe the excellent level of service and prompt response I received from Linda. She explained providing full details about the pendant in question and alleviated any concerns I had, she is very professional, honest and reassuring and told me that the piece I was about to purchase was beautiful.
I could not believe how quickly the pendant arrived from the time I purchased the item to delivery. It was packed securely with a full report, Linda was absolutely right, it is a stunning piece of jewellery and a perfect colour match with the ring.

I ordered a tanzanite engagement ring that was needed by a certain date, Linda gave me updates as it was being made, ensured it got to me on time, and when it arrived it was beautiful! We are delighted with the 10.00 ct tanzanite we purchased from Richlands . We had been hesitant , but the fact that the company owned TanzaniteOne Mining Ltd ( the worlds largest tanzanite mine responsible for supplying over 50% of the tanzanite on the market ) gave us reasonable peace of mind as they are clearly more experienced with tanzanite than the average online retail store . Whem we received the stone we had it independently appraised .. It was exactly as Linda had described and the appraisal value for replacing at a local store was considerably higher ! We feel it was excellent value for money and are entirely happy with the whole transaction and our beautiful stone

I was on a hunt for a parti sapphire and had been looking for months when I came across a google image of a Richland Gems parti sapphire that was the *perfect* gem. I went to the page and saw all of the photos, from every angle, professionally shot, with a YouTube video, too! I was floored, as I started to notice that some online gem dealers had poor photos, likely to hide flaws.

I was hesitant to order from an overseas company, but since I have PayPal protection, I took the risk. Within hours, Linda had responded to all of my questions along with some history on the gem, including the mine, ethical sourcing, the fact that parti sapphires are rarely cut by "master cutters" and how the coloration of the gem was also called a "Pharoah's Eye" cut.

It arrived from overseas, signature required, packaged well, and with a certificate signed by Linda. I wrote her to express my sincerest appreciation and stunned at how amazing it was in real life. She said my email made her day.

I am over the moon at how beautiful this gem is! I would have gladly paid more for it, but all of my diamond wearing friends are a little jealous.
