Cant give much really, signing up was easy, but asking for a review on service at this stage seems a bit daft, as when I need help for a claim will be the real test. So 3 stars for easy sign up, if I... See more

Just wanted to share my experience.
I recently had a policy renewal, the price was £203.70, I reviewed the policy and saw the car value was £3,045, the value is probably £1,700. I called Rias to amend the value.
When the adviser first advised me of the new price I was surprised the price had increased, she then said 'oh I entered £17,000, I will change the value to £1,700'. She changed the value and said the price would be £213.72. I said I was really surprised the price had increased. I asked that the quote was save and emailed to me.
The adviser said 'once the quote was saved I wouldn't be able to refer back to the original quote'. Surely once a customer has asked for a requote it would be unlawful for the insurer not to save the quote.
06/07/26 I emailed Rias why the value of car is less but the cost has increase and why the adviser suggested not saving the quote reference, 3281821-1783329678 . Disappointed I have not received a reply.

2 years running in the month of july could not renew online again as said it had a technical fault so instead had to phone up and wait in a queue
Easy to do
Easy to do, great price, easy to use website and on-line account. I am recommending them to my family and friends
Expensive Service
When speaking to Rias previously. I have
Always spoken to an agent in the uk. Today I spoke to 2 different agents. I couldn’t understand either of them very well. The first agent I spoke to did not seem to be very knowledgable .The second was okay also it seems like Rias are penalising people if they are unable to do their changes online. They charge.£25 to make any changes on the phone. This is very expensive.£10 would be a reasonable amount. Very disappointing.

Good product at a good price
Slow response after house fire
Wait until you have to make a claim on your home insurance. They really drag their feet! It's more than 3 months since my home became uninhabitable due to a fire and I am still waiting for approval to hire a building surveyor.

Impossible to obtain an annual quote…
Impossible to obtain an annual quote for a new, unregistered vehicle.
The agent simply could mot understand why a new car, that hadn't been purchased yet, didn't have a registration number
It's probably the system which is too rigid to enable agents to deal with a simple enquiry.

They’ve been a very good company to have a car insurance, but the only thing I will criticise is the fact that when you cancel the policy you’ve got hidden charges which I found a little bit of a shock
