so i did a search on myself, results come back with anything but me and they say I failed! as an IT expert I find this to be another Norton piece of trash just like their identity protection. what a scam

Not that it'll matter, as they'll probably suppress this review, but this company is a huge scam! They are quick to take your payment but slow as all heck to refund you after they lied to you and promised service.

Stay away. Already reported them to BBB and FBI.

I understand that it can take time to get results with a project like this.

But what I didn't expect, was that the content and assets created would actually harm my reputation more than it helped in the meantime.

Reputation Defender created a new website full of obscure, purely SEO type content which did nothing to explain who I was. Rather than just promoting my existing website.

They didn't even discuss that strategy with me. They simply went ahead and registered a whole new domain and built a weird website to rank at the top of my search term.

The social media posts created were minimal in number, generic in content and did next to nothing to build my brand.

When I raised issues with them, very little was done. And promises were made to take immediate action that weren't delivered on time.

So bad and harmful were the assets they created for my business, that I actually had to insist on them being taken offline.

A few hours of basic work on my own over a couple of days netted far better results, far more quickly than several months of working with them.

The account management was almost non-existent. With only one brief meeting at the beginning. And only an occasional email, several weeks apart.

Content was occasionally sent over for approval. But without any context for it's use. Leading to a raft of low-quality placements.

I would strongly advise investing your money elsewhere. Or simply spend one afternoon doing it yourself.

I have been a client with Reputation Defender for almost three years. They have met the expectations I had in mind when I initially signed. My career is no longer paralyzed because of the results they have delivered. My only regret is that I had not signed up one year earlier. The interactions with my most recent account manager, Cliff Gollehon, embodied the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I recently found out that Cliff is no longer with the company. If someone could share that sentiment with Cliff it would be appreciated.

I picked reputation defender over the other options because I liked the name reputation because that is what I felt like I wanted to do for myself was defend my reputation. I had a sensitive issue that was hard for me to talk about to anyone but the 3 people I talked to made me feel comfortable that no matter what my issue is they were there to help me. My case manager was Brittany and she let me tell her what I wanted and expected from her help and service and she explained what she does and I said ok let’s do it. I told her about a site that i really didn’t want to be a part of that had my name associated to it and I couldn’t get my name removed because I didn’t know how to find the right url and whatever and when she said she will check it out she did get my name removed from that site and called me after she did and was actually excited for me and that made me know she really does want to defend people’s reputations. So I can strongly recommend this service and Brittany to anyone that needs help to get unnecessary things online removed and have some peace of mind they can have some privacy from being exposed on the World Wide Web!

I have been working with Brittany for the past year, and she has been amazing. She made sure that all my personal information was removed and has continued to check in with me throughout the year. She answers every text message, email, and phone call within 24 hours. This experience has been great and efficient.
