Hi Sumaia, we're so sorry you are unhappy. Unfortunately, you returned your rental with a large tear in it, which we let you know about as soon as it was received and shared the pictures. We also tried our best to repair the dress and resolve the issue however it was too badly damaged. Had you notified us before it was sent back we could have tried to reach a resolution. The dress has been sent back to you so you can keep it or sell it if you wish. I'm sorry you are disappointed, but we do have to be fair to our listers and renters.
Dress looked amazing
Dress looked amazing. The only down point was i’m curvy and in between sizes so it almost didn’t fit and wouldn’t have been able to wear but we managed it in the end. Got so many compliments and I would definitely rent another again for another event.

Great dress, returns could be smoother
Great dress, arrived as expected and good price. It could be easier to return the item though. I made myself available so that the lender could send my dress in a cab. Well actually my Dad had to come over specially , wait in and then find the cab, which was in the wrong place, in the street. The lender insisted I posted the dress back and not use a cab which was not convenient or fair when we had gone out of our way to help her on the arrival.

Bad communication
The dress itself was lovely, there was no problems there. I rented it from a Depop lister through Swished. But the communication was awful. On the FAQs page they say you can buy the dress if you like it that much. I asked them if I could, they said yes and that they would send me an invoice to permanently purchase the dress. I was so happy. However, they never did and then days later they said a colleague had made a mistake and I couldn’t actually buy the dress. Turns out they hadn’t communicated with the lister very well and lister didn’t want to sell the dress on their terms. It ended up being quite a disappointing experience.

Hi, I'm really pleased you loved the dress and glad to hear you found the rental process easy but I'm really sorry this was a disappointing experience when you came to buy. We always offer renters the chance to buy the items if the lister agrees to sell. We don't own the items so it always comes down to what the lister wants to do and unfortunately in this case, the lister changed her mind so it was out of our control. To make the process as easy as possible we always ask our listers upfront whether they would be happy to sell the item and for how much - the price is set by them before an item is rented out and our terms do not change. Our lister initially confirmed that she was happy to sell it on to you, which is why we told you you could buy it. Unfortunately she then told us she wanted it back, which meant we couldn't facilitate the sale. I'm so sorry for the disappointment this caused. We are in the process of building direct messaging so that renters can communicate directly with listers so hopefully that will make it easier for you. Thank you for the feedback and we hope you decide to rent from us again.

This was my first time using Swished and I could not be more impressed! Such an easy process, the dress arrived within plenty of time for my event and a quick return process. Really friendly customer service team, especially Nic who I spoke to on the live chat function. Would definitely recommend Swished and will be renting from them again.
