Extremely expensive
The service was good. But they overprice their services since I had to pay one thousand three hundred euros for a tiny garconiera (28m2), even though verbally through call I've been told I would pay maximum seven hundred. When I asked them why they didn't even respond back.
A complete scam
Ordered a product on 10th Dec. Received the invoice by post without the actual product (Yes, you read that correctly). Emailed them twice over the past weeks to no response and their call line is totally unresponsive.
Basically, they ripped me off £200. Poor customer service. Horrible experience.

Adding insult to injury…STILL.
Following my last review of initial medical, I’m sadly having to write yet another due to their beyond laughably poor service (which I terminated over 6 months ago)
Any sane person could see why after the mountain of bullsh** I had to deal with whilst I was with this company, I obviously cancelled my account with them back in June 2021. I was told I needed to send an email in to confirm I no longer wish to be a victim of this company anymore. I did this, was then of course called multiple times the following week to ask why I had left, if I would come back, some ‘customer services’ agents didn’t even realised I had cancelled and thus proving my last statement about the shocking communication between each department within initial. Each phone call I explained I had terminated my contract and explained in depth, my reasons for doing so. I was told implicitly numerous times that my account was no longer active and I had nothing left to do in relation to this.
It was then only a matter of weeks until I started receiving threatening letters from debt collection company ‘credit style’ every time I received one of these I called up immediately, very confused to query what this is all about and explained that if initial had provided me with the service I was paying for, I never would have left. I was passed back and fourth to credit control and eventually told it was an admin error and I wouldn’t hear from them again and they were very sorry.
We are now 6 months down the line and the letters, phone calls, threatening emails AND text messages have started up again. Initial are trying to charge me over £200 for seemingly no reason at all other than scamming people for money must be the only reason the company is still trading.
If anything this joke of a company owes my small business money for the amount of hours wasted on the phone to them, begging them to collect my clinical waste so it’s not piled up in my tiny shop, being throughly messed around and spoken to like dirt. I could push for this but even the sounds of their voices make me want to die at this point so I would rather forget they exist and continue on with my great and reliable new clinical waste refuse company.
After another lengthy phone call this morning, due to being woken up by said credit control company, I’ve been told yet again by initial that this is in fact an admin error and I shouldn’t be being asked for any money. I have advised the half asleep woman I spoke to, very clearly and slowly, that she needs to call them and explain this and please leave me alone now. I was of course fed the same dreary ‘here’s your reference number we will escalate this as another complaint for you and get it resolved’
I highly doubt this will happen so will be seeking legal advice myself to once and for all get the matter resolved.
So, if you’re thinking of going with initial.. please be prepared to go through hell while you’re actually with them, then a whole new wave of laughs once you try and cancel your account, properly, a week before your next direct debit was due to come out. All they want is your money, it’s the back alley pound stretcher of businesses. I’m sure the ‘bosses’ will be reading this and getting ready to call me to get this post taken down too. You should be embarrassed of yourselves, have a terrible Christmas.

Do not use this Company
Do not use this Company. I had work for damp done 3 yrs ago.Now selling my flat, only to be told, hey I still have damp, by my buyers surveyer. After a visit by "Peter Cox", now Rentokil, charged at £195.00 !!! This Company have no concept of customer care.I am trying to get at least this extortionate cost back, if nothing else.Do not use this Company

Matt, Derby collection
Matt came to visit us this week in Derby for a one off collection; initially came just to look at the job due to some confusion with what he was actually taking (our error not his!)
Having said he would not be able to take the bags, Matt returned shortly after and took ALL the bags for us.
Nothing was too much hassle and Matt was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and a thoroughly nice guy.
Asset to the company for sure!

Splendid service
We have been using this company for many of years with no problems. It goes without saying, their care and attention to detail are second to none.
But, more importantly, their staff are well capable at reactive and proactive works, with an answer and solution to every problem.
Our sites had its fare share of problems- not now.
We had vermin issues on site, and Jay, our site technician, not only addressed the issue with in no time. He ensure we did not have a relapse by his continued, and hard efforts.

Brilliant
I don’t usually do reviews but felt I had to this time. We have just moved into a new unit /warehouse so we we thought it was a good idea to get rentokil in to keep an eye on things. Turns out we had a small mouse problem. We were lucky enough to have Arizona to sort out the problem. Arizona would come over once or twice a week until she worked out where they were coming from and sorted the problem. Was an amazing service and would highly recommend them. Especially Arizona.
