RentHunter is worth every cent. They truly deliver what they advertise. We found a nice place to call home for our daughter who is studying in Groningen just like they said - after replying to 30 ads.

Renthunter simply consolidates information from all platforms but doesn't offer any properties for rental directly. This means you have to pay Renthunter a fee to access their premium account, and for every property you click, in order to get any information, you have to then subscribe to another platform. If you are really searching for properties, you will end up paying numerous monthly fees in order to get full information and be top priority.

Hi, thanks for the honest feedback. A clarification: most Dutch rentals are originally posted on third-party sites, so RentHunter pulls 1,100+ into one feed with instant alerts. When a source charges its own fee, that's their paywall, not ours, and it's exactly the friction we're removing with 1-click apply. If you're hitting repeated paywalls, email support@renthunter.nl. Overall, it’s great! It still needs a little improvement, though.
The overall learning database is really useful.
The Tips & Tricks section is very well done, and all the information is relevant and immediately applicable.
However, the mobile app is experiencing significant lag. At times, it freezes completely and becomes unresponsive.

You should definitely give RH a shot…
The house market in the Netherlands is brutal, nonprofessional and noncivilised, particularly for the international applicants. RentHunter is developed and ran by honest, kind and trustworthy people who keep their promises. The premium subscription is definitely worth its price: you get a personal call with real useful tips, the application template is really helpful and the contract checker will check your contract online in no time and will advise you accordingly. With RentHunter you get constant notifications about incoming advertisements but what is most important is that you can link your personal subscriptions to other platforms (Pararius, Huurwoningen etc) with RH so that you can reply to an ad with a single click. Being fast is important and RH is the best tool to achieve it without spending endless hours over the screen of your mobile. What RH cannot do is save you from the indifference and nonprofessional attitudes of the makelaars… Last but not least. I did not manage to cancel my subscription on time and received a renewal charge notice. I kindly asked for a potential refund since I would not be using RH for a whole month. I sent an email almost at midnight and received a refund with a most kind message within 5 minutes! RH is great but what is even greater are the people behind it. I was so positively surprised guys. Thank you!

Helpful Alerts but cannot compete with 200+ applicants
First time registration charges for the app is ok but the renewable charges could have been less. The results of booking should have been at a faster rate as we could see 200+ applications for some houses but still the application haven’t been considered which causes distress for the applicants.
