It is rather hard to navigate

It is rather hard to navigate. I finally was able to use it but it’s not easy. It would be more helpful if the printing was larger and more easy to see. It was very hard to see what I needed as. The box was only half page and very small print.

Cameron Apts made my search for an…

Cameron Apts made my search for an affordable cozy apartment with amenities super easy. It allowed me to use the vitual option to see allbof the rooms which save me from having to take a 2 hour trip. The application process was very quick and their customer service was excellent. I would recommend using the online features to sign all of the documents and in return, if you are approved everything is executed and sent back to with how much you will need for security deposit and rent. There Rent Cafe' website has all of your information stored in one location. Documents, notices, rent payment and maintenance. So far I am all smiles.

Your layout makes it easy to find…

Your layout makes it easy to find information about properties. You seem to have more listings and certainly more current information than any other app I've used for this search. I'm so happy to have found your app - this search is getting easier!

The residents move in and out of…

The residents move in and out of apartments all the time. There are SEVERAL of us residents that have been here many years and love it. The staff and maintenance people are here to help the residents. Some days they are swamped then other days they are there in a minute. Love the fact that I do not have to mow or shovel any time. People are pleasant and wave or say “hi” when going by. It is quiet and kept very clean as long as we all do our part. Remember this is now YOUR HOME. Enjoy it!!!

RentCafe at a glance

Once your RentCafe account is setup, it is very easy to login and pay you rent or request a maintenance request. Now setting up your account requires that you have a active email, you create a password, and then you enter your financial information. Either your banking routing and transit number and banking account number or a credit card number to be saved. The only negative complaint I have is that if you use a credit card to pay your rent, they charge you an extra $50 for using the credit card. Doesn't seem fair. It doesn't cost them $50 to process it. The only other thing I will mention is there are several RentCafe websites on the internet so make sure you pick the correct one.Other than that, you can pay your rent in less than 5 minutes once everything is setup.

Not one of my applications to…

Not one of my applications to subsidized housing were submitted! My name and/or application are not at any of these leasing agents office's that I submitted a few to several months ago!
You are responsible for this huge mess and now I have to start over and I am without stable housing, still!!

Search for rentals in the area of East Los Angeles California

I have listed rentals for permeant low income housing in East Los Angeles, Boyle Heights, Lincoln Park. Alhambra, Monterey Park, San Gabriel, areas.
Yet you keep sending me listing in Culver City, or or places west of what I've been searching for. I am not interested in anywhere else but what I've requested.
It's annoying to get what I do not want. By email, it's rather discouraging.

The ease of the site to get to where…

The ease of the site to get to where you need to go is great . The menu options are straight forward easy to understand . So many choices for apartments and if you need to schedule maintenance or payment just takes few minutes .

I am making an effort to use Rent Cafe…

I am making an effort to use Rent Cafe as an existing resident at a property where I have resided since 2016. Since 29 December 2025 I am experiencing extreme difficulty with registering my payment information and to also pay this January 1 2026 rent. Since 2016 I have NEVER BEEN LATE ONCE in paying my rent! BUT RENT CAFE is not affording me any ease whatsoever in recording my bank and payment information. Also the RENT CAFE RESIDENT page is listed as 404! OH THIS PAGE HAS MOVED! BUT THERE IS NO LINK nor indication as to just where the RESIDENTS PAGE has been moved to! To maintain my payment record and integrity, RENT CAFE is certainly not helping in my efforts to make use of RENT CAFE. Neighbors are expressing similar issues and difficulty with RENT CAFE. There are problems that need attending to facilitate established Residents to pay their rents on a timely basis. Please help! Thank you

Adding a Bank Account is Insane

What they use to add a bank account is insane. The fact you have to give your username and password for your actual bank account, should be illegal. Three times, after trying to add a bank account, it said it failed and the site crashed and then the next day my bank account had magically been added. They offer ZERO user upport and it is impossible to get a hold of human being to help with anything. Their partnership with Flex to split your rent into two payments is also a giant scam as if you use a credit card with Flex, they charge your credit card as a CASH ADVANCE and not a credit card charge. This is not disclosed anywhere before signing up. When I move, my first question for a new landlord will be, do you use Rent Cafe? And if the answer is yes, I will not live there. They are a nightmare.

It’s a very good app

It’s a very good app. Just sometimes doesn’t let me sign in. It will tell me that I got the wrong password. Even if I did not put in the password wrong. Other than that it is a very good app. One more thing is that when you ask for a tour nobody gets back to you.
