Making a claim using email
I made claim for a cracked windscreen and their email bounced back. It seems to me that they are a complete scam.

Making a claim over the phone is useless. They don't pick up, almost as bad as Centrelink hotline.

They dont answer the phone or emails
If they wont answer the phone what hope do you have about making a claim. Web site crashes trying to quote an annual policy
There does not seem to be a reputable company in Australia offering hire car excess insurance

Non existent customer service
I purchased cover for a motorhome excess. When my plans changed due to covid 19 border restrictions in Australia I tried to contact rentalcarprotection by phone and email. Their phone line was never answered, just stating that due to covid they couldn’t answer. This is understandable for a few weeks but not for 2 months. Emails to customer service were never answered.
I was only able to get my money back by complaining to the regulator AFCA who took a complaint to the insurer, Zurich.
Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen, and I suggest avoiding this company.
