Rent-a-Skip is a UK-wide skip-hire booking service. Rather than running a single depot, we connect you with a vetted local operator covering your postcode — so wherever the job is, you get a nearby supplier who knows the area, handles delivery and collection, and quotes a fair price. We cover England, Scotland and Wales, with skips from 2 to 12 yards to suit any project: mini skips for small clearances, 4 and 6-yard skips for most home renovations, 8 and 12-yard builders' skips for heavier site waste, and RoRo containers for large commercial jobs. Wait-and-load is available where parking or a permit makes a standing skip impractical. Booking is deliberately simple — no online forms, no upfront deposit. One short phone call covers the right size, your delivery date, any council permit you need, and the total price, usually in about 90 seconds. Where a skip has to sit on a public road, the permit is arranged on your behalf. Prices start from around £100 and vary by area and size, and we work to keep them among the most competitive in the country. The operators we work with are licensed waste carriers who sort and recycle as much of each load as possible. Rent-a-Skip is a trading name of Jakes Creates Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 16971656). Phone lines are open Monday to Friday 7:30am–5pm and Saturday 7:30am–1pm.

Really pleased with the service from…

Really pleased with the service from Rent A Skip. Their website was easy to use and made the whole process straightforward. I was able to speak to a real person when I had a question, which was refreshing and very helpful. I received a quick quote that was competitive compared to other companies I looked at, and booking the skip was nice and easy. The whole experience was hassle-free from start to finish!

Amazing service

Super useful. Easy call process where I spoke to a human immediately who helped me with what I needed rather than having to figure it out myself.
