Reliable Van Scams

I left a review (below) addressing Reliable Van Lines.
I mentioned my furniture and belongings had been damaged. I sent my information and pictures of my damaged items to Anthem Claim Management LLC. I was offered $238! What an insult! Turns out Anthem Claim Management owns Reliable Vans Lines.

We would like to clarify that our team made several attempts to contact you in an effort to discuss the issues you raised and reach a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we were unable to resolve the matter through those communications. During one of our conversations, the discussion became highly unprofessional, including the use of inappropriate and disrespectful language. We understand that disagreements can be frustrating, but we respectfully ask that all communication remain professional and respectful, even when there is a disagreement.

We also want to clarify an important point regarding Anthem. Anthem is an independent claims/insurance company that works with many businesses and companies. Reliable Van Lines does not own, operate, or control Anthem, nor do we determine the amount they offer in connection with a claim. Any statement suggesting that Reliable Van Lines owns or controls Anthem would therefore be inaccurate.

If Anthem offered $238 in connection with the damaged items, that amount represents their assessment of the value of the items based on the information and documentation provided to them. It is not an amount determined by Reliable Van Lines, and it should not be represented as though we personally decided that the damaged items were worth $238.
