Great experience

Ordered a ricecooker from Reishunger with delivery to Denmark. There were some trouble with the address, but the customer support was fast to reply and correct the issue. The ricecooker got delivered on the 5th day after placing the order. Great experience.

Great product and customer support

I ordered the basic rice coocker which works great! but came with little scratches on the lid out of the box. I contacted the customer support about the issue and they came up with a suitable solution. So: great product and great customer support!

Terrible service unable to contact them

Terrible service, they replied to a common question within minuts than when I did what I was told and get stuck returning my order they stop replying I am waiting for multiple days for my return forms and they refuse to reply phone not working, whatsapp no reply, emails no reply.

Service so s**t I would be ashamed to order here again

Buy elsewhere.

My order arrived the other day. The outer box was damaged but the box with the cooker in seemed fine.
It was an early Christmas present for a friend so I didn’t open the item. I took it round to her and was mortified when she opened it to find the hinge/ lid was very broken.
I contacted the company a week ago and on many occasions since and (apart from an auto reply) I have had nothing from them. Currently feeling very ripped off. Don’t bother using them. Cooker looks great but this one is unusable and I appear to have thrown £50 away in the process.
Update 08/11: Still no response whatsoever. I'm having to write this off but will be escalating the complaint to Shopify and the consumer rights ombudsman.

Awful customer support

Wanted to make a return as I did not like the product. Customer service did not reply for a week. In the meantime, I followed THEIR website instructions for returns, shipped it back at a pretty penny, and they REFUSED the return shipment.

WHAT A SCAM!!!!

I absolutely regret buying from ricehunger. Customer service doesn’t respond for several days now, and i send them a message right after i got the item! Worst customer service and i hate buying from them biggest mistake of my life!

Defective product, no return label

They pretend to let you return a defective product, but then don't get back to you for several weeks and waste your time going back and forth with endless emails which don't give you a return label to give back the product. Stay away from this company at all costs! They are extremely dishonest and unprofessional.

Excellent customer service

I received the rice cooker as a present to complete a retro look of my kitchen. It functions well for nearly two years, but I noticed some white dots on the inner pot. I contacted the customer service on this, without expecting much. But Nele responded immediately asking for photos and purchase detail. On examining these she said that she would send me a new inner pot, which arrived only 2 days later. I’m very pleased by the outcome, could not recommend the company highly for their support and efficiency!

Is this company real?

17 June Update. After being informed I would receive a refund from this supposed company, it has still not happened. I have now reported this supposed company to my bank for action.

I would avoid using this company to avoid the same experience I have had and take whatever replied they give with a caution.

Reishunger’s response reads as if they have found a suitable solution for me, they didn’t! After more than 2 weeks of no communication they have replied saying they will offer me a refund, or continue to ship the product which I will receive in 3 weeks and offered me a 15% discount on future purchase? Unbelievable horrific customer service… you have been warned, use this company at your peril.

Is this company real?

I placed an order for a digital rice cooker on reishunger.co.uk - special offer of £99.99 from £119.99 on the 24th of May. I have still not received the product and when emailing their customer service they asked me to give them another 3 days to get back to me... still no reply and it is now the 4th of June. I think I have been scammed..... Is this company real and genuine, I feel I have lost £99.99...

I'm in love with my Reishunger rice cooker!

My son lives in Korea and his family uses a rice cooker every day. Their rice is always fluffy and delicious. I needed a new one, and my rice cooker wasn't making nearly the quality of rice his had, and it was either lumpy or mushy. He he showed me the writeups about the Reishunger digital rice cooker and suggested I buy that, so I did. Wow! This is the best rice I've ever made, every bit as good as all the rice I've eaten in Korea or Japan. I've made Korean short-grain rice, jasmine rice, wholegrain rice, even a mixture of wholegrain and white rice on the white rice setting after soaking the brown rice for an hour, and everything has turned out fantastic every time. And it's so easy to use! Today I invited some Iranian friends for dinner and we tried the crispy rice setting together. After it was done, they showed me how to simply flip it onto a plate, like an upside-down cake. They were impressed, and I was over the moon. They said it was perfect, just as good as any Persian rice they have made, with no effort at all. It was also beautiful to look at. I am in love with my Reishunger rice cooker!

I placed an order in January for 89CHF. I have still not received my order. Apparently the parcel was lost (delivered at a completely wrong address in another town) by the courrier. Reishunger is not responding
