Kickstarter money down the drain. No product, tons of excuses.
Reinkstone R1 e-ink tablet: 3 years since the kickstarter campaign, no product, every half year or so an update full of excuses. What a scam!
They claim it's hard because they ran out of money. Instead they now offer you to buy new products. Sorry, no, I'm not going to throw more good money after bad. Money down the drain.

I backed their Kickstarter for the Reinkstone R1 in June 2021. We were promised monthly updates on the project. It has been since August 2023 since the last update. They will not respond to emails and they have since launched new products. Do not support this business

Two Years and Counting - Still No Products!
Two years ago they promised a new kind of e-reader on Kickstarter. Two years later and only a very small handful of readers have gone to backers, and those even had issues. It's been nothing but delays, and the company only issues communication when the backers start complaining in big batches.
Not only am I upset about this company, but also of Kickstarter, since they refuse to hold Reinkstone accountable or issue refunds for a scam.

This is a scam, I lost 419$ US I backed them and did not receive my unit. They did ship but not to me and did not follow the backer’s number ordering. I was backer 147!!!
No email, no rebate coupon as they promised. They simply do not care!
