Reinforced Beds are a family run, online only retailer specialising in very strong beds and durable mattresses based in the UK. Our collection consists of heavy-duty frames constructed from the strongest materials. The range include wooden bed frames, metal bed frames, upholstered beds (including bedsteads, ottomans and divans) and bunk beds.
Our stock is suitable for both domestic and contract customers. We have supplied products to many different environments, such as large hotel chains, student accommodation refits and to the NHS direct to name a few.
Due to the build quality of our products, we have a wide selection suitable for people who are overweight and/or suffer from challenging behaviour. These products have been sourced and designed with the aim to be the solution for customers who require them most.
As well as an online retailer, we take great care in our products. As well as sourcing reliable and fantastic manufacturers to create our beds, we also manufacture select metal beds on site here in Norfolk! We also import some products directly to us, built to our own spec from overseas.

Ordered wrong mattress - it's too hard
The mattress I ordered was an extra firm one because I was having back and hips pain on the old one I bought with the divan from Reinforced Beds quite a long time ago. As a former customer, I thought I should get the replacement mattress from them.
Now I feel the mattress is too hard for me as I continue to feel pain in my back and hips. I wish I had ordred the firm rather than extra firm.
Even with a mattress topper, electric blanket and normal fitted sheet, I still feel the hardness and not comfortable at all. Not sure what to do now.

Great design, make and service
I purchased a double bed before Christmas as I was moving but did not use it until mid February. The staff were very helpful via email and made sure it was delivered on the day I requested. I was drawn to this bed due to the design rather than particularly needing the reinforced element. I particularly liked the metal frame and base as I find wooden beds too creaky and the slats annoying as they keep breaking and moving. Too date very pleased with this purchase and service I received. Would highly recommend this product.

Can't knock 'em
Can't knock 'em, very heavy duty and a reasonable price. would more personalisation options, i.e. standard mounting points for headboard or side boards. I'm only average size, but I wanted a bed without additional legs to maximise storage underneath; again, a couple of ready-made leg height options would have been nice (I ended up welding some longer legs). The bed is very strong, it could take an elephant.

The bed is fabulous
The bed is fabulous. It is well built, looks great and feels like it will last forever.
I would have given 5 stars except for the lack of assembly instructions. We managed to work it all out apart from the remote control pairing process. I eventually found the instructions online.
It would have been really useful to either include written instructions with the delivery or enclose a link/advise where to find them in an email.
Really, really happy with the bed.

Instructions and measurements problems
Ordering and shipping is great, however the instructions are too non specific and only small pictures.( 3 pages of 3 steps for a high rise bed). I also believe the measurements on the website to be only within the poles as to fit the bed I had to remove a part of the skirting board. For around £400 i expect a quick easy and non stressful process but didn’t get that and ended up make- shifting half the part just to make it fit in place. I believe getting a simple bed like a flat double would be great as the instructions would be simple, But for bunks or any high rise I would say instructions are a guessing game.

These beds are exceptionally strong and sturdy, made to last. I have an autistic 16-year-old that loves to bounce; he's broken countless beds in the past. I'm so grateful to have found this site, will definitely recommend, and I will be back in the future.

We purchased a trundle with mattress
We purchased a trundle with mattress, small double with mattress and single with mattress for my very tall and growing teens. Customer service was excellent, I added two preferred dates for delivery and they were delivered on one of those days. I was able to put the beds together myself and quite quickly. They are absolutely solid. I got a work out😂 Super value for the price. I most certainly recommend this business.
