Certainly wouldn't recommend there move on house project at £228 per week soon as you start full time employment it's out the door with you or pay £175 per week as for continued support it's really non existent unless your happy to get a whattsapp message now and then or be at home when they decide

PCP LUTON: Definitely worth the money.
The accommodation is basic and there needs to be some updating and replacing of furniture for sure.
There definitely needs to be more councillors as they are thin on the ground especially weekends. So if your staying more than 6 or 8 weeks you can end up doing the same workshops 3 or 4 times. But the counsellors and night staff themselves are brilliant. The 1-1 therapy with the volunteer counsellor Nancy was brilliant (although I understand you have to pay for at least 8 weeks to get it, if true I don’t understand that because she’s a volunteer)
I was here for the maximum of 12 weeks and it was the best investment I ever made because of the counsellors and what I learned about the illness of addiction.
Be advised however: You only get a salad or sandwich provided for lunch Monday to Friday so you have to buy the rest of your food including breakfast and you don’t get a free Big Book for your Step work which at cost price is £8 something I believe they could provide free to clients considering the fees they pay. To me that’s just being tight.
But ultimately what made it worth the money was the again the counsellors and night staff.
That is ultimately what your paying for and their knowledge, patience, compassion and teachings is worth a million dollars. So if you want to get clean and having seen so many peers come and go, I would stay as long as you can afford too minimum 8 weeks. And don’t go through an agency as you’ll pay through the nose. Apparently it’s £14k for 12 weeks but that’s not what I paid. So I would recommend trying to agree a deal which is what a lot of people have done. After all it is a business and deals ‘can’ and have been done.
Having said that whatever you pay, if you can remain clean it’s worth whatever you’ve paid as ultimately it’s down to us not what you pay.
So I feel, despite the negatives (which we shouldn’t concentrate on) it’s the best place to get clean. I was a hard nut to crack apparently and very defiant. Being at Luton PCP was the best decision and the best investment I made. I feel extremely lucky to have had the means to go there and benefit from the counsellors experience and come out a healthier, happier and more knowledgeable person.

If you are coming to rehab to learn how to kick a deadly illness then PCP is top class. If you are going for a luxurious holiday away from drugs or alcohol then pick another rehab as you will be disappointed. You must set your expectations that the primary objective is for you to live a sober and clean life and that you will do anything to get that. If you are not willing to do this then I would not waste the money. The councilors are superb, the education is fantastic, the thought gone into the clinical guidance and support is impressive.

I would recommend this place to anyone who is serious about recovery. But you must be serious, it is not a holiday, it is not a jolly, not meant to be comfortable, nice or pleasant.

You will however get a group of professionals who have an enormous amount of experience and can guide you on what changes you must make in your life. They will encourage you with incredible passion on the action you must take to make a change to your life.

This place has changed my life for the better.

This has got to be one of the worst rehabilitation centers in the UK!! It is abhorrent that they profit off the vulnerable. Its a filthy and dirty place, the staff are useless. Not professional at all and I just don't understand how they are able to continue. The owner drives a Bentley Jeep, parading round those who are struggling so much, and profiting of their suffering. Its disgusting and immoral and should be investigated by the CQC!

This company care more about money than they do the care of the ‘clients’ .. my brother was allowed to walk out completed dosed up on medication .. detox medication and extremely high dosage sleeping pills !! They did call any one to let us know he had left . We found out from my brother himself . He was then admitted into hospital the following day as they said it’s very dangerous just stopping the medication and he had to come of it slowly as he was at risk of a seizure . I rang 10+ times with no reply , i eventually got a reply when I wrote an email ! Perry himself rang me and basically blamed my brother for everything..said he’s an addict and will lie and use any excuse .. he does not care about anyone other than himself ! And the money going into his pocket ! Avoid this place at all costs . I will be taking him to court for medication negligence! And as for James his manager . I’ve never come across someone so rude in all my life !! These people know that when you turn to them your willing to pay anything to save your loved one !! £7000 for 3 days !!

Money grabbing and uncaring.
Avoid at all costs... the after care is nil.....my son did 3 out of 28 days .... they allowed him to leave and make train journey to London when he was so heavy on medication he doesn't remember the journey and they didn't tell us he left, my son did.
3 days for £7 000....
A cruise would've been cheaper.....he couldn't finish the programme but charged us for 28 days...

I still say that Michael amanda and Paula were really helpful.. that wasn't my complaint....it was about him being allowed to walk out and make train journey from Luton to London so heavily dosed up on librium he doesn't remember any of it...I should have been asked to collect him.

He was admitted to hosp in London the next day to carry on the librium programme.

Having paid for 28 days and only doing 3 I asked could we please be reimbursed for just 14 days so meeting us half way, you're still in pocket 11 days.

My daughter spoke to perry who was extremely rude to her and kept saying... your brother is an addict so he lies....all addicts do....
The PCP is run by addicts ...do they all lie then?..

I've lost my mum because of this supposed health care centre. Because of the poor treatment she received here, she's now more ill than before entering treatment in the first place.

All my mum wanted was to get well, to get better but they completely destroyed her and I feel very resentful and angry for what they did to her, neglecting her and not acknowledging her concerns during her time here.
As a psychology student, I am appalled by the treatment my mum has received. Treatment that has in turn caused her to experience further upset and distress that could have been avoided.

Absolutely disgraceful company.

AVOID THIS REHABILITATION CENTRE AT ALL COSTS!

My personal experience is of someone that went there. They had concerns about their welfare but the centre ignored them. Instead the resident was made to look like they were delusional. I would urge anyone that has had a bad experience to log their concerns with the relevant authorities.

A dirty unclean residential house for the Men infested with Bed Bugs causing a nasty rash to one client.

Asked by a client to obtain funding for one extra week to be advised they would put in for four extra weeks allowing them to pocket the remaining monies from the welfare state.

A week with no direction as to what was expected and when questioned councillors were always quick to spin the reply putting you in the wrong.

Highly unrecommended due to poor facilities for living quarters and no direction for goals to be expected.

Accomodation - unfit for human use. Food - unfit for human consumption (disgusting lunches brought in from a ghastly greasy spoon). Staff - unfit for roles. Treatment - lacks any focus. Venue (Luton) - rat infested hole - unfit for human habitation. Overall - run by a tight-fisted Scrooge and his inexperienced protege boy. (it’s all about bottom line profit). AVOID.

Awful. Please, please avoid. I could tell you horror stories about this place. The company should be shut down. I took them to court-they settled very quickly out of court

Never do any work for this company they don’t pay their bills and just ignore you.
