Have RegioJet ever actually run a service that has arrived on time ?
I have never been on a train that has,so please don't rely on them if you are running a tight schedule
Final update:A 50 minute delay in arriving in Prague. No explanation. Nothing
I travelled with RegioJet from Prague…
I travelled with RegioJet from Prague to Bratislava on July 1st, and it was one of the worst train journeys I’ve ever had.
The problems started before we even departed. A completely different train than the one advertised arrived, and as a result I was downgraded from Business Class to Relax Class. The seat numbering was chaotic and didn’t match the reservations, which caused confusion and unnecessary arguments between passengers.
The train was extremely slow and kept making unexplained stops for long periods. To make matters even worse, the air conditioning stopped working during one of the hottest days of the year, turning the journey into an absolute nightmare.
RegioJet seems to rely on old, outdated trains retired from other countries, and the overall quality of service is very poor. Based on this experience, I would not recommend travelling with RegioJet to anyone.
No AC and corporate behavior
No AC and corporate behavior, when money is above people and you will fell it, if they leave you in 40 degrees without AC because of money, and put all people in to last four wagons because they dont have enough wagons. And bad wifi and no functional toilets on a regular basis... They just dont want to spend money, see for yourself, check wagons, they literally bought them on sale somewhere from someone who did not need them anymore.
Extremely disappointed long time customer
I have been a long-time RegioJet customer, but at this point I am seriously questioning why.
The overall quality has dropped significantly. Trains are consistently dirty, and even the newer Relax carriages are often dusty and smell unpleasant. This is supposed to be a higher standard of travel, but it feels neglected.
Operationally, it is chaotic. Last-minute changes to carriages and even direction of travel happen far too often, creating confusion and unnecessary stress. Even worse, I have been reseated at the last minute without being given an equivalent class, which makes paying extra feel like a waste of money.
The staff are another major issue. Instead of helping, they often come across as rude, dismissive, or simply uninterested in resolving problems.
The onboard service is equally disappointing. The menu looks good in theory, but in reality drinks that should be cold are served warm, and the food quality is questionable. I have had multiple cases where food caused digestive issues, which is completely unacceptable.
RegioJet markets itself as a premium, customer-focused service, but the reality no longer matches that image. At this point, I cannot recommend it.
Ось природний і впевнений варіант…
Very disappointed with RegioJet's service.
We waited on the platform for almost an hour in the scorching heat (around 37°C) while our train kept being delayed. The departure time was changed several times, but no clear information was provided.
When the train finally arrived, we were simply told that it was not going anywhere. We did not receive any email or other notification informing us that the train had been cancelled.
What was even more disappointing was the complete lack of assistance. No RegioJet representative came to explain the situation, provide guidance, or help passengers find an alternative solution. We had to run around the platform asking the train staff what we should do. The only response we got was: "Just look for other tickets."
Unfortunately, there were no other tickets available for that day.
This level of customer service is unacceptable. When a train is cancelled, passengers should be informed in advance and assisted with alternative travel arrangements instead of being left to figure everything out on their own.
I cannot recommend RegioJet based on this experience.
I am crying because I was so hungry
I am crying because I was so hungry. They told us a minute and we waited almost 2 hours just to receive the news of them having 3 options for food. The staff was rude and disrespectful towards us.
No air conditioning
No air conditioning in coach 5
We travelled with RegioJet from Győr to Vienna Hbf on 20 June 2026, train RJ 1034, coach 5.
The conditions were unacceptable: the windows could not be opened and the air conditioning was not working. The carriage was extremely hot and stuffy. We checked other parts of the train, and the air conditioning seemed to work properly only in the business coach.
This is not acceptable for a paid international journey. RegioJet should maintain all coaches properly, not only business class.
I purchased food onboard and later…
I purchased food onboard and later discovered that it was already spoiled. This is a serious food safety issue that should never happen.
What was even more frustrating was that I immediately informed the onboard crew. Instead of handling the matter, the staff member told me to contact customer service myself and made no effort to assist. I trusted their instructions and followed up with customer service afterwards.
After several email exchanges, customer service admitted that the correct procedure was for the onboard crew to take back the expired food and provide a refund on the spot. They also acknowledged that the crew may have been unwilling to handle the issue and stated that they would deal with the matter internally.
However, despite admitting this, they refused any refund or compensation, claiming that too much time had passed and they could no longer verify the incident.
In other words, their own employee failed to follow company procedure, and the customer is expected to bear the consequences.
The expired food was disappointing. The lack of accountability afterwards was even worse.
Very bad experience with RegioJet.
Very bad experience with RegioJet.
On Friday, June 5th, the bus arrived very late at Geneva Bus Station (Place Dorcière), and unfortunately this was not the first time. Delays seem to be the norm on every trip. But what happened next was even worse: when the bus finally arrived, it did not even stop in a parking bay and simply continued on its way. We assumed it was just making a loop and would come back to pick us up, but it never returned.
As a result, I was left stranded and unable to make my journey. I then tried to request a refund, but this proved impossible. The website was not functioning properly, and the link I received by email did not allow me to submit a refund request either.
I am extremely disappointed by this complete lack of reliability and by the absence of any effective solution for customers. Between the repeated delays, the failure to stop and pick up passengers, and the inability to obtain a refund, the service is simply unacceptable.
I absolutely do not recommend this company, and I will never travel with RegioJet again.
Jesus Christ what an awful train
Jesus Christ what an awful train, you can’t even charge a phone because plugs are not working, ac is not working. We complained to a staff member and he just laught and said yeah this train is terrible.. 0 stars.
Bad customer service, delays and cancelation of class with downgrade.
My family and I started traveling with RegioJet trains on business 1st class about two years ago and, unfortunately our only good experience was the first time. From the second on it’s has been extremely disappointing and stressful. Our business class has been almost always canceled and we were downgraded. RegioJet gave us a financial compensation for that. We were informed by the customer service we could request the compensation in cash at the RegioJet office at Prague Main Station, but every time this happened, they never had the sum in cash. So the way was to send an email to customer service and request the credit to be sent to my bank account. To my disappointment, the last time this happened, with a credit of 110EUR, I sent an email to request the refund to my bay account but they never replied. When I got back to them about it some months later, they credit was gone and they informed that the period for refund has passed and credit was taken without any possibility of refunding. I asked to escalate this to the management as I believed it was a mistake, since I requested the refund within the 6 months period as per they policy, only to hear back from the management with the most embarrassing excuse. The management sent a screenshot of a reply to me,( that I never received),saying that if I wanted the refund I had to contact another department. My email was sent to the exact same department who refunded me on a previous occasion. They simply took my credit and kept trying to find excuses not to refund me. They failed and couldn’t fix it. It’s a terrible customer service without taking any responsibility for their own mistake.
The last time we were on a business class (1st), the section was extremely noisy, A/C barely working and the door wouldn’t stay shut, it kept opening the entire 3h trip. The train to Prague ALWAYS delays. RegioJet, never ever again! I do not recommend anyone to travel with them.
Terrible staff!
Terrible staff!
The bus drivers were so rude. Always complaining. Just so rude.
Just no.
There’s always some problem. If you have ANY other option, do not choose this company for traveling.

Most terrible behavior of staff against customers in the Regio Jet trains! Just rude, unfriendly, and making mistakes
Train left 10 mins earlier
The delay of train was much smaller than expected, no warning, not even in the app or the screens in their lounge space. I came 10 minutes earlier but train was gone. Refundable? Forget it. Customer service about this issue was not the best.

We were charged an extra €65 for our children because they didn’t have Polish student IDs. The RegioJet website does not clearly state that the student fare only applies to Polish students — even the train staff confirmed this is misleading. Very disappointing lack of transparency.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with RegioJet.
We were forced to sit for hours in a lower deck filled with a strong smell of urine and feces. The ventilation did not work properly, and the staff ignored our request to do something about it. It was impossible to breathe normally or rest.
This reflects extremely poor service standards. We will never travel with this company again.
No Refund After Cancellation
They refused to give me a refund after they cancelled the train journey.
AVOID - Cancelled journey with no refund.
AVOID - Journey cancelled last minute for 'operational reasons'. Refused refund.
OK, but not as great as they were.
Using Regiojet buses from London to Prague nowadays, make sure you take plenty of food and drink with you. There won't be the free drinks, or refreshments for sale that there used to be, that they still advertise on the side of the bus. Also, as they needed to make up lost time, there weren't any service stops. I paid for a more comfortable seat, thinking it might help me to sleep. But it made no difference. I saw some people sleeping, but mostly they were those who had undone their seat belts. But for a night's sleep, I didn't think it was worth the risk.
