Dear Reef Management,
Dear Reef Management,
I would like to raise a formal complaint regarding a perfume shop located in the Kuwait Pavilion at Global Village Dubai.
During my recent visit in 30Jan,2026, I purchased more than 10 perfumes and paid AED 1,720. Unfortunately, I was not given a proper receipt at the time of purchase. When I returned to request the receipt, the staff were unable to provide it. I also noticed in their billing system that many receipts showed the same total amount for different customers, which raised serious concerns about the accuracy and transparency of their sales records.
Additionally, I requested to exchange one perfume for the Coral fragrance. Initially, the staff informed me that it was available in another branch (Saudi Pavilion). However, once I clearly stated that I wanted an exchange and not a new purchase, they suddenly claimed it was unavailable.
Later, at the Qatar Pavilion, I was shown the Coral perfume again when I pretended I wanted to purchase under a “buy one get two ” offer. But when I stated that I wanted to exchange, the salesperson claimed the item belonged to another customer who had paid but not yet collected it. It is unacceptable to attempt selling an item that supposedly belongs to someone else. This behavior appeared dishonest and misleading, and it felt like the staff were more focused on pushing sales rather than handling exchanges fairly.
I have been an active customer, but unfortunately, this will be the last time I purchase from this shop. I understand that one customer may not make a big difference, but slowly you may lose many others due to the greediness of staff trying to push sales in such an unprofessional manner.
I kindly request that Reef Management investigate this matter and ensure that proper billing procedures and fair exchange policies are implemented to protect customers.
Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your response.
Regards
Laila Daher
Here is a stronger version of your…
I recently ordered two boxes of Princess Reef perfume, and my experience has been extremely disappointing.
In one of the boxes, one perfume bottle was broken and the fragrance had completely spilled inside the packaging. On top of that, the lip gloss that was supposed to be included was missing from both boxes. This clearly shows a serious lack of quality control and proper packaging.
I immediately raised a complaint through the website and also sent an email, but there has been no response so far. The lack of customer support is unacceptable. When I tried to initiate a return request, the system displayed a message saying that returns are only possible in Saudi Arabia, even though the return policy clearly states that it is applicable in both Saudi Arabia and GCC countries. This contradiction is misleading and highly unprofessional.
The brand presents itself as a professional and quality-focused seller, but my experience has been the complete opposite. Selling damaged products, missing items, and then not responding to customer complaints reflects very poorly on the business. If proper service and support cannot be provided in other GCC countries, then the company should reconsider operating there.
I expect a prompt resolution, replacement for the damaged and missing items, and clear clarification of the return policy.
Reef Perfume online is a scam.
Due to my pleasant experience at the kiosk of their new Princess Reef, I decided to order online on 3 Feb 2026 for their promotional sets (2 sets) and also 3 perfumes. I made payment and status on 4 Feb 2026 showed completed. This is not true as I made the order outside of SA. As many complaints shown, the customer service doesnt respond to any emails or any whatsapp. They say its "in review" but the website shows delivered. I agree with other reviewers that this website IS A SCAM.
absolutely atrocious service and most…
absolutely atrocious service and most likely a complete fraud or no customer care at all. I placed an order, and delivery is 1-4 working days. however, there is no sign of these at all. I track my order and like many other reviewers, it says delivered but this is false. I tried contacting them via phone, WhatsApp and no response. Email just bounces back for me. so there is no way to get any communication from this company. absolutely avoid if you want to save your money and time and purchase directly on the stalls in malls if this is the brand for you.
I tried Reef 33 because the saffron and…
I tried Reef 33 because the saffron and oud combination sounded amazing on paper, but sadly it didn’t work for me.
The opening with saffron felt very strong and a bit harsh rather than smooth or luxurious. When the rosemary came in, it gave a sharp herbal note that didn’t blend well with the saffron on my skin. Instead of feeling elegant, it felt a little overwhelming and confusing.
In the dry down, the oud was present but not as rich or deep as I expected. It felt flat and slightly synthetic to me, and the whole scent didn’t settle into something pleasant.
It’s definitely a bold fragrance, but personally it wasn’t something I enjoyed wearing.
Wrost ever
Wrost ever , They haven't delivered my perfume for over a week, and some are saying it's been a month, and it's without the lip glosses for the Princess collection! And they're still running ads. And no customer care!
They are fraud
They are fraud, they said we delivered perfume but I never got it and no response from costumer care.
Reef33 - Good fragrance, but poor transparency
Reef33 is a good fragrance, but poor transparency and an unhelpful response
The fragrance itself is good and performs well – I am not suggesting it is fake.
My concern is with transparency and packaging. There is no hologram, QR code, or production/batch date on the bottle or box. All date information appears only on the disposable outer wrapper, which is removed and discarded immediately. This information is important for customers, especially to know the shelf life and production date.
I contacted Reef to raise this concern, but the response merely stated the product is “within shelf life” and that they would “be more attentive in the future,” without addressing the core issue.
For a parfum at this price point, collectors and customers deserve better transparency. All the other bottles in my collection have full and correct labelling.
Do not buy from Website.its scam
Do not buy from Website.
You cannot track the order,Such a bad customer service no response at all full scam. I placed an order status shows delivered i didn’t got anything, also iam trying to reach them on every platform but not getting single response.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!
Although the smell is good initially, they lied about the price in the clock tower mall in Makkah. They said a deal: buy 3 get 3 free, however i was charged for all 6 perfumes separately and no mention of added tax on top? DO NOT buy from this place
SCAM, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!
On 21st September 2025, I placed an order for 12 perfumes on the REEF website. A couple of days later, I received an email confirming that my order had been shipped. According to their website, shipping to Dubai takes 2–4 business days.
After four days with no delivery, I reached out to REEF via WhatsApp, email, and Instagram. I received no response. They are ignoring all my messages while continuing to post on social media. This is extremely unprofessional and shows a complete lack of customer service.
Avoid this company at all costs! As of today, I still haven’t received my perfumes.
Delivery Delays
DELAY in DELIVERY and no response from Customer Care..
I placed 2 orders for 16 nos. of REEF Perfumes. First order was placed on 20-Sep and second order was placed on 24-Sep.
Both the orders are not delivered till date and there is no contact from REEF side. Many times, I tried to contact the Customer Service through calls and email, but no response.
Reef teaching their employees to lie and steal
As many others have stated, reef lied to me in yas mall Abu Dhabi. They first overcharged me then they told me it’s a tax which was never stated before. They said I can claim back at the airport. They didn’t need my passport however all others took my passport details. Their employees have clearly been trained to lie and steal off customers.
Do not purchase!
I tried to place an order on the 25th of June but seemed there was an issue at checkout. £200 roughly it cost me after the conversion rate. No order confirmation as the order never went through yet payment was still taken and no refund has been made. Tried emailing, WhatsApp and instagram DM but have been ignored in all forms of messaging.
the best smelling perfumes i’ve ever…

Reef perfume attitude of the way they…
Reef prefum attitude of the way they advertise in reem mall and gallarya nall in abudhabi seems to be cheap and unprofessional and they bother people by chasing them. I will never ever buy from them till they stop such bad attitude as if we are in the streets not in a mall. Please stop.
Amazing
Amazing , great price for the quality. I bought many from my last trip to Macca and all was great
Place Dubai mall Kiosk.
Place Dubai mall Kiosk.
I had a highly unpleasant experience with a seller named Mohammad. After making a payment, I asked for a tax refund registry for tourists. He assured me that such registration was no longer necessary, and the new system merely required displaying the invoice at the airport to receive the VAT refund.
Skeptical of his claim, I checked with various shops, all of which confirmed that registering the purchase and providing passport details to the VAT system was indeed mandatory for the VAT refund. Within just 30 minutes, I returned to Mohammad, politely requesting a refund and the return of the perfume.
He refused and impolitely denied my right to return the item unless I opened it!!
Frustrated by his response, I mentioned my intention to escalate the matter to the Dubai consumer authority. Mohammad dismissively encouraged me to do so.I approached the mall's information desk and explained the situation. Upon verifying that the invoice and the original packaging remained untouched, they intervened and facilitated the return of my money at the reef kiosk while I waited at the info desk.
