Scumbags

I got scammed a couple of months ago, and after initially reporting it to action fraud and having a reply from them saying that there was nothing they can do, I today received another email from them stating:

"I’m sorry to hear you’ve been a victim of crime. Thank you for taking the time to report to Action Fraud.

All Action Fraud reports are passed to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau and we review every crime to identify investigative leads and opportunities to disrupt criminal activity. We have analysed your crime report and I am pleased to inform you that it has been passed to Devon and Cornwall Constabulary for their consideration. They have recorded it under reference: unfortunately we haven’t received a local reference number for your report yet.

The NFIB has prepared a crime package and Devon and Cornwall Constabulary will review and determine the most suitable response and let you know what action they will be taking as soon as practicable. If you need to get in touch with them in the meantime, their contact details are as follows:
• Devon and Cornwall Constabulary by email at (trustpilot doesn't allow emails in reviews) or by phone 101."

I hope others have received the same email, and (fingers crossed) we might get a bit of justice. Unlikely, but I'm glad they're taking it seriously.

Redondo…

I had the same experience as everyone else.it has taught me a valuable lesson. Be cautious when buying on internet. I lost £170 to Redondo. I expect they had a good Xmas spending all our money!

Yes, I was scammed too!

I too was scammed by this company. As I paid by bank transfer, I was unable to get any compensation from my bank. All they could suggest was that I contacted the police fraud unit, which I did, but they too were unable to help. I never thought I could get scammed, but it was so easy. I shall never pay by bank transfer again.

Disappointed with ActionFraud

I too was scammed by Redondo and as advised reported the matter to Action Fraud but was extremely disappointed to receive an email from ActionFraud yesterday saying " We have reviewed your report and I
regret to inform you that we have not identified any leads that would result in a successful criminal
investigation therefore your report has not been sent to a local police force or other enforcement organisation
to commence an investigation at this time. "

So disappointed - has anyone else had a similar email from Action Fraud. I knew I would not get my money back but was hopeful that the scammersd would be brought to justice.

SCAMMED

I, too, fell for the scam and I buy frequently online. I have reported to the Bank and to the online police fraud team. I don't anticipate getting anything back, though.
I have never sent money via Bank transfer before and should have been suspicious. However, like everyone else, I was taken in by their reasons for doing this; it all sounded very plausible.
Let's hope they are caught soon and cannot repeat this disgusting crime. People will have been saving for these products, possible as Christmas gifts, like mine was intended.
Sadly, there are some vile people around.

Got scammed too

Yes, I got scammed by the low life pig too. I hope Karma hurries up and gets this person. HSBC have the scammer's details and could easily give them to the police so that we could take him to the small claims court. I hope one of you manages to find this person and let's us know who he is and then we will all come after him. I won't give up until he's behind bars.

Redondo Fraud

I was scammed too, for the first time ever, and consider myself to be a savvy on-line shopper. I lost £43.70 on a non-existent Tower Pressure Cooker. Lots of people here understandably angry and livid that they have been scammed out of hard-earned cash. The crooks are just faceless, heartless criminals who probably set up this scam from overseas (most likely USA) so are untouchable and untraceable. Welcome to the new world of insidious cyber crime.

Scammed

No point in typing my story out as it's mirrored all the way down this page and all of the other pages. Valuable lessons learned though. Trust no one. NEVER pay by bank transfer, always with a credit card you are covered with. NEVER trust googles sponsored shopping ads. Only buy from well know companies albeit paying a bit more, at least you know you will receive your item. Always check trust pilot or other review websites. Trust your instincts, even if it's a small niggle at the back of your mind, don't do it.

I had a few red flags and decided not to go through with it and later that day received an email from them apologising about the payment method not working. Etc etc etc. It sounded legit so decided to go through with it. I could kick myself for not finding the item I was buying from another online retailer before I received the email.

I still can't believe I fell for it. My husband went on google earth after I told him what had happened ( I didn't tell him before as it was a Christmas gift for him that I had saved up for) and their address was a mail box company.

Reported to action fraud, will be writing to google as that's the only way to contact them. Reported to my bank but told there are no funds in the account to claim back.

It pains me to say, the world is full of low life's like this that prey on people. Taking their hard earned cash because they can't be bothered going out and earning an honest living. If by any chance one of you are reading this..... I'm sure your Parents are really proud of you.... NOT. They are probably regretting the day you was born and rightly so.

POND LIFE SCAMMERS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Had no reason to doubt this website as it was very convincing. Ordered a Dyson vacuum for £225.99 by bank transfer, but this was never dispatched. Tried contacting this company after a couple of days for a delivery date and received a reply from "Lynda" again quite reassuring. Despite numerous phone calls and e-mails, no further contact was made. Reported them to Action Fraud. My bank fraud team informs me that they have no funds in their HSBC account and so my money cannot be recovered. HSBC have their account details and so should have all relative information regarding these a**oles, but they won't release details to my bank. I have ways and means of finding this scum. I hope the £225.99 was worth it, to have to keep looking over their shoulders.

Scammed

The same story as the rest of people in here. Reported, HSBC bank is empty so no money recovered. To the viewer who said the secured icon should appear on payment..actually was there! I'm really careful with things like that. I still can't accept that I've been scammed. Hope they'll find them. I have faith to the police.

Fraudsters and thieves. SCAM ***

Found microwave online via this company's website, ordered, as had a reasonable review on TrustPilot. Email back stating they had temp problem processing PayPal payment, so acknowledged bank transfer for £45.99.
They took payment, with a thanking email, then nothing delivered. When chasing last two days, found multiple reviews for FRAUD and a SCAM.

Sadly, appears they have stolen this money from me. Reported SCAM to bank and Action Fraud.

Sincerely hope all of us get justice, and their liberty is taken from them.

Report as well if you have been defrauded too. So angry......

Scam! theives!

I was scammed out of £134 for a carpet washer i paid for on 12th November, paid by bank transfer, alerted my bank - hsbc - same bank as the scammers bank account- and filled in action fraud form online. Bank advises i WON'T be getting my money back! I have now been told that for future reference, if there is no lock icon in the bar at the top of the webpage on a site , then it is not secure! So don't buy from it. But beware scammer because I WILL FIND YOU!
