Snapped under literally zero pressure
the fly rod performed great for a begginer, but the tip section snapped while casting after using it once. if i had actually hooked a fish it wouldve snapped like butter

Buying the fly rod was a no brainer for the price, the fly rod casts really well and has a great action as well.
For the last few years I have been using more and more Redington products, I have started putting the Rise reel on more and more of my rods…I can’t get enough. Unfortunately, I ordered a new Rise 3/4 to put on my euro rod, which was stollen off of my front porch before I could make it home from work. Not having used their customer service support before and seeing some poor reviews online, I was skeptical and my hopes were low. I sent the guys a message and told them what happened, not 24 hours later did I have a no-questions-asked email offering a completely free replacement in my inbox. 10/10 recommend for their products alone, nice perk to learn their customer service is top notch as well. Very pleased customer.
Daaaang!!! Should of come here first. All the reviews below about their repair services is true. Do not buy if that is of value to you. They charged me $50 dollars and then just ghosted me. Twice! Finally received a response that a manager would refund me and never heard and saw anything. Just sad. For me it is not about the $50 anymore just how ethically wrong they are.
Im done with Redington and their awful repair services. First is was the pandemic, then their warehouse, now their online system is down and they are not taking orders. Been trying to buy a rod tip for two years now. Pathetic, won’t buy ever again after this.
I have been waiting 6 months for the rod I sent in for repair/warranty work. Every time I check with them I get pushed back more and more. Now they don't even have their own customer support. Never buying Redington ever again.
I accidentally left my rod tip in Boise when I was driving across country. My friend went to Idaho Anglers to have them ship it to me. They did but UPS returned it to IA for some unknown reason. BROKEN. IA could have cared less. They sent it to me again with the tip taped together. I sent it right away to Redington Fly Rods repair. That was 11/6/2020.
Their customer service is the worst. No communication. They blame the pandemic for causing a delay in their pipeline from another country. They don't have loaner rods. It is 7/8/21 and I asked again where my rod is. Email stated that I will receive it in 1-2 weeks. (Gee-what's the rush?)
I wrote to their Director of Fishing weeks ago and heard nothing. Guess customer service is pretty low on their priority list.
I gave them a star because I had to. Their product has been fine-just don't break your tip.
Broke my tip and sent it in cause it was still under warranty.
6 months later I’m told that’ll just be two more months before I get it.
Yup, 8 months to replace a rod tip. Pitiful customer service.
Wanted to get my rod repaired or replaced. Paid $60, 2 months ago. I was supposed to get an email with a Fed Ex return label. Never got it. Sent emails and left messages. No service. Sad that Sportsman Warehouse sell a product that the company does not stand by.
Ordered and paid for a rod tip, so far 62 days and still haven't recieved it! Very hard to communicate with. Do not return emails or phone calls, bounced around, no one knows what is going on with my order. Great company if you don't mind customer service total FAIL!
Broke one of my favourite fly rods and contacted Redington to get a repair. The customer service from each person I dealt with exceeded my expectations 10 fold! Not only that they shipped me a brand new rod in a nee case all within 3 weeks. I cannot speak high enough of their customer service and dedication to taking care of you.
I had an issue with the poor sizing on their wading boots and contacted them on their website but never received a response from their customer service.
