Nicky took on my son with only 2 weeks until his test. Fitting him in with lessons to make sure he was prepared. Nicky explained everything in detail and was always very positive which gave him extra confidence.
Although my son was already pretty good, him passing his test was really down to Nicky’s tuition.
Nicky is a great driving instructor who I would highly recommend.

RED provided a great learning experience, and my instructor, Constantin Marcel Buhlea, was excellent. Helped build my confidence with clear explanations and great support throughout my lessons. I highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive.

I had Peter Barker as my instructor and he helped me so much. He was always kind and supportive when I made mistakes and helped me to feel confident and safe when driving. He has a good sense of humour and is a good teacher. Thank you Peter!

I had a great experience with Shaathvegan (based in Cambridge). Extremely professional and helpful, and always punctual. He helped me learn manual driving from scratch, and prepared me for the exam. He also improved my confidence while driving, especially on roundabouts. Passed today! Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Gavin Hewson for anyone looking to refresh their driving . I hadn't driven in 12 years and was very nervous before starting. Gavin understood this and made the whole experience fantastic. He calmly explained the car and what to expect on the lesson before we set off to put me at ease. He made sure to tailor my lessons to concentrate on areas I was most concerned about.His calm and patient approach completely rebuilt my driving confidence. He constantly reassured me whenever I felt anxious, making me feel incredibly safe and supported. He also made sure to guide me when I did make errors but also allowed me to identify them. I would like to take this opportunity to leave some positive feedback for one of the amazing instructors who took my daughter through her early "learning to drive" stages and into passing her test first time.
His name is Darren Grech and he works the Edenbridge / Tonbridge / Tunbridge Wells locations. Imogen had approximately 12 lessons, she knew the simple basics when she started but Darren got her driving really well, very quickly.
He gave her the confidence she was missing and worked exceptionally well with her to ensure she was well equipped, had sound vehicle knowledge and was comfortable driving on all road types and prepared her for all the realities of driving. From her first lesson I could see the improvement in her ability. Darren is a superb instructor, he takes time with his students and ensures they feel safe and comfortable behind the wheel.

A massive thank you to Darren and to Red Driving. Money well spent and highly recommended to any young drivers getting ready for their big day.

Christian De Angelo was my instructor and was so good! Lots of good driving tips, very nice to be around and good conversation. We were recommended RED Driving School by a friend who had done her research and found them to be the most cost-effective option. We initially started with a different instructor, but my daughter just didn’t click with him. After I explained the situation to RED, they were incredibly understanding and helpful, allowing us to change instructors without any hassle, subject to availability.

We then booked a block of lessons with Michael Wenger, and the difference was incredible. Operating around the Welwyn and Stevenage area, Michael made my daughter feel at ease straight away with his warm, positive, and smiley approach. His lessons were fun, productive, and highly effective. He is an excellent teacher who helped my daughter transform from a nervous beginner into a confident, knowledgeable driver, so much so that she passed her test first time in Stevenage! She genuinely looked forward to every single lesson.

As a parent, I found his updates and communication to be exemplary. He is a real gem of an instructor and an absolute asset to RED Driving School. I have three sons who will need to learn to drive in the future, and I won't even consider anyone else to teach them. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Michael to anyone.

My driving instructor was Amanat Ullah, he was a fantastic driving instructor. He is incredibly patient, and his teaching method is excellent. He has a real knack for explaining things clearly and making sure everything clicks. What also stood out was his availability, he was always flexible and could fit you in at almost any time, which made the whole process so much easier. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to learn to drive!

Our experience with Tanisha Broady was exceptional. My daughter recently completed her driving lessons with Tanisha and has just passed her driving test, and we couldn't be more grateful for the support she received throughout the process.

Tanisha was patient, professional, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to build my daughter's confidence behind the wheel while ensuring she developed safe driving habits and a thorough understanding of what was required to pass her test. I absolutely loved my first driving lesson and the instructor was brilliant

Huseyin Surensoy in Cambridge never showed up for my lesson because apparently he is switching to automatic training only, even though i was able to book for manual on the website. I received no correspondance from the instructor, and only found out when i was called the call centre to ask why my instructor hasn't showed up.

Jim Bodman was an amazing teacher and played a huge part in me passing my test first time. His expertise and driving skills helped me learn quickly but also thoroughly allowing me to learn and improve when I made mistakes.

Neena was my driving instructor. She was very careful and considerate which helped me to learn, even as a nervous new driver. I was able to achieve a pass first time as Neena was there to give me a sense of confidence and reassured me of my capabilities. I would highly recommend!

Shibu Narayannair is a top class instructor.

I honestly don’t think I could have passed without Shibu Narayannair. When I started, I was incredibly nervous behind the wheel, but his patience and encouragement completely transformed my driving. He have a gift for explaining complex maneuvers in a way that just clicks, and he always made me feel safe, even when I made mistakes. He didn't just teach me how to pass the test; he taught me how to be a safe driver for life. Thank you for everything. I’ll miss our lessons.

I have concerns about the conduct of an individual associated with Red Driving School who acts as an administrator in a Facebook "Are We Dating The Same Guy" group. Based on what I have observed, there appears to be behaviour that I consider unprofessional, including targeting, hostility, and unfair treatment towards some male members.

While I understand that employees have personal lives outside of work, I believe companies should be aware when individuals connected to their brand engage in conduct that may reflect poorly on the organisation.

I hope Red Driving School takes concerns about respectful behaviour and professionalism seriously and reviews any evidence brought to its attention.

This review reflects my personal observations and opinions.

My name is Sanaa, and I had 10 hours of driving lessons with Instructor Ali, who demonstrated exceptional professionalism and patience. He proved to be an excellent teacher, consistently encouraging and empowering me, which greatly put me at ease. I am currently learning to drive a manual car and have been experiencing some challenges with the clutch and gearbox. Ali instilled confidence in me, especially as I was initially quite apprehensive and anxious. With each session, and thanks to Ali's invaluable help and guidance, I observed significant improvements in my driving abilities. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ali to any new student, as he possesses the ideal teaching methodology and demeanor for working with learners. I am very much looking forward to scheduling my next session with Ali.

Raj Rathod based in Chalfont St Peter is an amazing driving instructor. So patient, helpful and overall great person who really cares about you passing and is always pushing you onto the next thing to improve can’t recommend him enough.

I passed my driving test yesterday with no faults at all thanks to the most brilliant instructor, James Ursell, in Birmingham. Not only does James have a very methodical approach for learning how to drive, he really has the ability to TEACH and to adjust his approach to suit the learner. I feel like James has not just taught me how to pass my test, but how to be a genuinely good and safe driver on the roads.

James also works hard to understand his students and help with any blockers to passing the test (for me this was nerves) and is genuinely a lovely person to have a chat with while you learn to drive.

I can really see how James won the Instructor of the Year award and couldn’t recommend him more if you want to pass your test but also become a confident and skilled driver. Thank you James!
