We never received the louver for a…

We never received the louver for a Volvo 240 ordered in May 2024. The owners rarely answer emails or calls. We were told that the part was shipped in June (a month after we bought and paid for it), but it still has not arrived. We requested a refund since the part never arrived but they said no. The website says refunds on 30-day returns, well, what about refunding our money for something that never arrived?

Volvo 142 R-Sport Gauge cluster

Extremely rare and fully refurbished R-Sport gauge cluster purchased a few weeks ago. I snatched it up right away. The item was delivered well packaged and exactly as advertised. There was a delay in shipping and I received the item about three days later than I expected, no big deal, and the cost was included which is a plus. Matt communicated with me over text which was helpful. Because of previous reviews I began to panic thinking I was about to be ripped off and opened a complaint with PayPal. This was not the case at all here. This was a square deal.

Slow order, parts of poorer condition than advertised, dishonest communication

Order was shipped a month later than initially stated.
It was only shipped after I had opened a dispute on my credit card and reported the store to shopify.
I was notified that my order would be incomplete and was given a partial refund, and when I requested cancellation as I would no longer be receiving the needed parts, they refused and claimed their store policy didn't allow cancellations (their policy does no such thing for this circumstance.)
After having to constantly email and message RBS for over a month, and being told many times my order had shipped, or was shipping the next day or two, it finally shipped a month after RBS had initially said it had shipped.
The parts were in much worse shape than originally claimed.

Poor communication

Poor communication. Product was damaged upon arrival and took months to get a replacement. Second part came in, damaged. Still waiting for reply and replacement. If your so busy don’t sell parts.

Waiting Months for a Refund Need to Take Legal Action

I paid $353 to Redblocksociety on July 3rd, for a set of 240 headlights, a month later after many unanswered emails I was finally informed that I would not be receiving the merchandise with no explanation. Despite numerous correspondences I have yet to get my money back. Now I have to go through PayPal to see if I can get reimbursed and if that fails Small-Claims Court I suppose. What a nightmare. I would recommend saving time, money, and grief, by purchasing from reputable vendors like IPD, FCP, etc. In my experience Redblocksociety is either unscrupulous or incompetent, perhaps both. Website claims to be a manufacturer of Volvo parts, what a joke, (well maybe he makes Volvo love bracelets in his mom's basement).

Hello Michael, as the product page states its currently in pre order only as we are awaiting delivery from Sweden for these hard to get parts. No other USA supplier has them right now. I'm sorry you're unhappy with the delays in international shipping times, it's been a nightmare with covid. I emailed you a month ago with my phone number and more information regarding the order as you asked to talk with me by phone and left another review saying we were a joke because we had no public phone number. You're free to call any time during business hours to discuss the intracacies of where we source our kits and the delays we have had over the year not to mention stock shortage. If you want to cancel your pre order you're more than welcome to just see the terms on the product page and we can initiate that. It's easier if you contact me directly by social media or by phone to handle these matters as our website messenger isn't the best system and it may not send every message. Thanks

Took 3 months for my e code blinkers to…

Took 3 months for my e code blinkers to arrive, when they finally did the right blinker hade a huge chunk broken off of it and a crack going down the side and they didn't fit very well (only 2 out of 3 hole will actually line up with the existing ones) and upon reaching out to them for a refund or new blinker I was ignored, pretty disappointed cuz lots of Volvo forums and people told me this was a nice trusted site to get parts off of, but I will not be buying from red block again!

All of our items are insured during shipment and I am happy to send another one out to you! I am curious though where you tried to contact me. Email is the worst way but Instagram or messenger I respond instantly. Sorry for what's happened but I will make it right.

The lamps are great,

The lamps are great,! The fact that the bulbs and the trims were just fine and I'm glad they came with the "kit". The packing and the shipping were top-shelf. Super.!
The only thing that left me grumbling a bit when I didn't know I was going to have to go scrambling around for the screws for the trim over the lamp (my old ones were badly rusted) and I had some crimp connectors for the wires but I lacked 2 of the right size and way too many of the wrong ones.
A note in the ad that says that I'm going to suss up these items would have sped the process.
But, as I said, in all other respects, GREAT SHOW.!

Initial communication was problematic…

Initial communication was problematic and caused concern. The effort made to repair the break in comms more than recovered situation. Product arrived perfectly packaged and intact. Great supplier.

242 Nordica hoodie

I ordered my 242 Nordica hoodie on 4/29/20 and received it on 5/26/20. It arrived with the Nordica stripes in different shades of gray, not blue. I was in contact with Redblocksociety representatives, sent pictures and multiple messages. On 4/4/21 I received a replacement hoodie with the Volvo logo and the correct Nordica colors. The 242 version of the hoodie is no longer being offered. It took a long time and the Volvo logo version is nice but not as cool as the 242 version was. I appreciate the effort put forth to correct my problem but prior to purchasing any additional products I would confirm availability before ordering.

Not satisfied

Took them extremely long (7 weeks) to send the order. Should be a present. Therefore it was way too late for me. Wasn’t able to reach support.
Really wouldn’t recommend it.
