If you are looking for a driving instructor, look no further! Over the years I have had multiple driving instructors but had struggled to make progress. This changed when I started to learn with Steve at Red Amber Go. Steve was exactly the teacher I had been looking for. He is very good at tailoring his teaching style to match how different individuals learn best. He identified and taught me driving techniques that fixed the problems I was facing and helped me to build on these week-on-week. His countless tips and tricks have become a part of my everyday driving and were a key part to passing my test. At times when I was confused about something, Steve always took the time to help me to understand. I really appreciated the extra time he made to be friendly and have a chat too. Thanks for the lessons Steve, see you on the road!

I have enjoyed learning to drive over the course of the year. I found it good as the driving instructor was patient and would repeat it until what we were learning was perfect. Also at the end we would go over what went well and what didn't and the next lesson he would design it to try and combat the problems. Also the best part was he is a lot more focused on actually becoming a safe driver rather than just being able to pass the driving test.

Steve's customized teaching style allowed me to pick up driving of the highest standard - not just to pass the test! - despite my concentration problems. Steve is very learner-centric, and was patient with me when other driving instructors weren't. He adapted the lessons to allow me to pick up the basics first then layer the learning in order not to overwhelm me. Beyond being an excellent driving instructor, Steve always gave more of his own time where needed, and is one who truly cares about his students, putting in his all to make sure they get the best learning experience.

I was recommended Steve of Red Amber Go by my partner who had passed her test first time round after having lessons with Steve, so I had reasonably high expectations to achieve the same. Steve certainly did not disappoint, he was consistently patient throughout and helped me to understand my driving errors through knowledgeable reasoning which made me more confident in my ability going forward. At no point did I feel like I was being criticized, Steve always made me feel at ease behind the wheel and made the most out of the lesson time, I never felt my time was being wasted. During the course of my lessons I had a lengthy period of illness where I was unable to drive, Steve was very understanding of this and stayed committed to getting me to my test but only when I felt well enough to do so, for this I am very grateful. I would highly recommend Steve of Red Amber Go to anyone who wants a calm, competent and knowledgeable driving Instructor.

P.S Under Steve I was also able to pass my test first time round which I'm ecstatic about!! Big Thank you Steve!

Excellent driving instructor. Very cheerful, funny and friendly. Really gets you confident at driving and doesn’t just teach you for your test but teaches you how to drive in the real world. His terms and conditions are excellent and can potentially save you a lot of money.
