This is a very great business to sell your phones at a very competitive price. Customer service is very fast and prompt. My check was a little delayed due to USPS delays, and I contacted customer service and they emailed me my check. Will do business here again and recommend to anyone looking for a hassle free experience!

upgraded from the iphone x to the 12 and needed to sell my iphone x. Recell.io handled the task like a champ! Love the service guys, keep it up!

Professional and courteous. I had several questions about the process and the answered them all in a way I could undersand. My device was received and I got several emails letting me know where it was at I'm the inspection process. The next day I received my payment via PayPal with a thank you emial. A+ effort here

Upon getting the highest quote for my smartphone, which was in very good condition, I sent my phone to Recell.io. A week later, I get an email saying that "Unfortunately there is heavy lcd burn in on a white screen" which is not true. Maybe they inspect the phone down to that degree, but the screen was in perfect condition with the naked eye. With this email, they reduced their offer from $62 to $30. I should have gone with Gazelle or other reputable company.

It was a great process and super quick. I gave them a 4 because I asked for a check and they said they were sending a check, then they paid me via PayPal so I had to pay the PayPal fee. I'm not sure if it was due to COVID or not but it wasn't what I was expecting.

It brings me no pleasure to write this negative review for recell.io. I was eager to sell my iPhone to them, but they moved the goalposts.

My used phone was in excellent condition when I mailed it to recell.io, easily falling into the "Good" category according to their description ("...no chips or cracks in front or back glass, above 85% battery life...") and receiving a $665 quote.

After sending the phone, I received an email stating it was now considered "Fair" condition and given a requote of $575 because of "chips/nicks on the sides, bottom of the device," a description not even included in their own criteria.

I respectfully contested their reevaluation and was given an additional $20 for the requote. By that time, I was so irritated that I requested the phone to be returned.

I took the phone to a Verizon store for a valuation. The representative said that the battery health was at 89% and the minuscule nicks should never have constituted a "Fair" condition. The phone was in excellent condition.

In the future, I hope they change their evaluation method or at least follow their own criteria.

*UPDATE*
Unbelievably, recell.io contested my review, stating they did not believe I'd had "a genuine experience with them." Unfortunately for them, I supplied all of the correspondence to Trustpilot who verified my review.

Why would I write such a detailed review on a company with which I have had no dealings? It makes no sense. I would have had more respect for recell.io if they had owned their mistake and tried to rectify the matter. Instead, they doubled down and attempted to get my review removed. It will be interesting to see if they respond to my review.

As the title of my review states, "Seller Beware." They may treat some of their customers well, but they were completely unscrupulous in their dealings with me. They are untrustworthy. I would recommend avoiding this company altogether and will post the link to this review on social media outlets.

After declining their initial offer they offered an amount that I felt was fair amount for my phone and I didn't have to deal with selling it to someone else.

I sent this company my Samsung S10e and never heard from them again. Tried calling and emailing, but no answer.

To clarify, recell.io used to be BingBongBuy and BingBongTec. These people can't even cover their tracks.

I used recell.io after finding them on SellCell and I was not disappointed! They had the best payout available, process was easy and pain free. I did have to inquire with their support as my check was taking longer than expected. The support I received was timely, and they were able to create a digital check for me to deposit ASAP. I cannot say how awesome it is to see business using technology like this to enhance the customer experience. I'll see you when the next iPhone comes out! 5 stars!

FRAUDULENT company! Original company is called BingBongTec, then BingBongBuy, now it's Recell.io. DO NOT BELIEVE these fake reviews. Think about it. This company was BingBongBuy then converted to Recell.io in June and is a NEW company. Yet these reviews are premature with 5 star reviews all of the sudden! Go ahead and call their customer support/email. They will NOT respond to you. I just called the Canton, OHIO Police Department and they told me I'm the 10th person who called to make a police report regarding this company! DO NOT SEND IN YOUR PHONES TO THIS COMPANY! I have started the process of filing a police report and soon will convert to litigation if I DO NOT GET MY MONEY for the phones I sent them. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I used this company to return two of my phones, they did email me through every step so I wouldn’t worry, this is a updated review because I did have a small issue with scratches they found on my phone but it was resolved immediately so I will be using this company again!!

This was my first time using a trade in service and I have to say that this company is very trustworthy. Communication was great informing me every step of the process being taken. Received fast payment. Satisfied customer here!

This company seemed legit but it is the same bait and switch tactics that these fly by night companies use. I sent them my flawless iPhone XS Max that they offered $415 for. They re-quoted it at $270 saying it had issues with the speaker and nicks/scratches. I requested it be returned but still no tracking and no response from emails or calls.

Update 12/10/2020 After posting the review above I finally got a response to the calls and emails previously sent. They again offered $300 for the phone which was well below their $415 offer. They sent it back to me and I received $400 from a different company for the same exact phone.
