I'm very pleased with the results of an earlobe rejuvenation procedure Dr Kathryn did for me five weeks ago. It was my first experience of anything like this, so I was nervous and asked loads of questions. I'm very grateful to Dr Kathryn for her kind professionalism and very high levels of patient care. (Her receptionist, Jamie, is also very nice and efficient.) We've already moved on to skin tag and mole removal :0) Again, a small thing but something I've been meaning to do for ages. I recently had 3 moles removed by Dr Kathryn, the whole experience was very easy and painless. The site of removal has already completely healed and the small marks left will fade in time.
Jamie was polite and quick to respond to my initial enquiry. Dr Kathryn quickly put me at ease with her friendly and professional manner. I have already recommended her to my friends.

Dr Kathryn is a genius! She really listens to what you want and delivers the exact result. I have been disappointed by so many other practitioners, who promise the world and deliver very little whilst taking huge amounts of money from you. Dr Kathryn uses high standard products and techniques that delivery top class results.

I had a mixed experience at Realyouclinic. While the staff, including PA Jamie, were helpful and the procedures were quick and mostly painless, the overall results were somewhat underwhelming. Dr. Kathryn and Dr. Taylor-Barnes were kind and professional, providing clear advice and care, which I appreciated. However, the outcomes of my treatments didn't quite meet my expectations. The clinic maintains good standards, but the results weren't as transformative as I had hoped. It might work better for others, but for me, it was just okay.

I always get a very professional care, attention and treatment.
Everyone is very friendly and make time for you even though they are very busy.
That I think is really important.
Also I totally trust the advices I am given and the treatments I am given by very qualified doctor K Taylor Barnes .

Very professional, I highly recommend Dr Katherine. I booked an appointment to discuss removal of a small cyst and had the procedure performed straight away, only took 15 minutes and its something i have been putting off for over 10 years. Will definitely be using her services and skills again, especially for reduction procedure in snoring.

I had a very positive experience having 3 moles removed at the clinic. The doctor’s PA Jamie was very helpful in getting me booked in and the procedure itself was painless and very quick. The doctor explained everything to me and was very kind and personable. The area the moles were removed from has healed very well and overall I’m amazed at how straightforward it all was. Very much recommended!

I attended my first treatment session with Dr. Kathryn, where I patiently waited more than 20 minutes for her to prepare. I didn’t mind the wait and understood that it might have been necessary.
Unfortunately, I missed my second appointment due to a misunderstanding of a reminder message, which occurred after I had taken a day off because I wasn’t feeling well. I recognize that missing an appointment can be frustrating for the doctor, especially when the time could have been used to see another patient.
When I contacted the clinic to explain, I received a call from the assistant Jamie that was both angry and disrespectful. She repeatedly said she was just the “middle man”, did not allow me to talk and sarcastically informed me that Dr. Kathryn “didn’t want me as a patient anymore”, because I had missed the appointment. I was shocked by this response, but I immediately sent an email to apologize and explain the situation, that also included personal details (that I prefer not disclose at public review).
To my surprise, the response I received from the clinic was not only unprofessional but also judgmental. The email labeled me as ‘irresponsible’ and included phrases such as:
• “As a result of your error”
• “We choose not to rebook patients who do not adhere to their appointments.”
• “We suggest you finding a clinic that may be better suited to accommodate patients who fail to arrive as scheduled.”
• “Good luck”
While I understand the frustration that may come from a missed appointment, I had hoped for a more empathetic and tolerant response, especially in the healthcare field. Instead, the message is particularly labelling and judging me, something I would never expect from any healthcare provider. I’m sure I’m not the first person to miss an appointment, nor will I be the last.
The new reply from my email, there was a highlight bringing up that I had in the past booked an appointment with the clinic, but had cancelled “without a reason” as it was not a patient right. It was cancelled with a great time in advance but unfortunately it was not taken ‘smoothly’. There could be countless legitimate reasons why a patient might need to adjust their schedule, and it is disappointing that this basic patient right was taken as rough. There was also a twist in my words suggesting I have battered price while just asking the price of the treatment and mentioned it was different in the website. But have never tried to negotiate pricing, and the implying is a lye.
The point here is not merely about the clinic’s decision of not following with the treatment but the way it was conducted and communicated.
I am truly astonished by the continued unprofessionalism reflected in the communication with this clinic. The tone and content of the emails seem intent on causing discomfort and distress rather than resolving a matter and turning a page.
No matter how skilled a doctor may be, if there is a lack of empathy, tolerance, sensibility or respect, it ultimately results in a poor experience for the patient. My experience with this clinic has left me questioning whether their focus is truly on patient care or merely on the financial aspect.
