I don't have my tests yet. My credit card has been billed, and I've paid, and I was emailed this review, and I'm happy to fill it out.

I'm not talking about test results. I haven't gotten the tests

Real Time Labs does an excellent job…

Real Time Labs does an excellent job for us - we can use them to drop ship to remote patients, give kits in office - and recently, when a patient did the kit wrong, they were very helpful and accommodating in helping us figure out what to do. It would be hard for me to practice without RTL. Much appreciated.

Terrible customer service and delays

It's been over a month and I haven't received my lab results, something they promise to provide in 10 days. I understand that there were issues because of the winter storm, so I waited patiently to hear back from them. They did not get back to me with an expected date until I sent them multiple reminders. Then they told me the samples are under process and I should get the report last week. Again, I waited entire week and no word from them, not even a courtesy email saying that they are falling behind their promised date. I have sent them multiple emails since last week and still no response and no signs of my lab results. If you are having delays, you should reach out to your customer and provide an update rather than the customer pinging you repeatedly. Really terrible and frustrating. I don't recommend them at all

Not as impressed as I could be ...

While I am impressed with your testing capabilities, there were a few issues.
I recognize that the extreme winter weather, recently experienced, threw everything into chaos so hopefully that was the reason.

When my ‘sample’ finally made it to your lab, there was nothing from you to say that you had received it... even an automated note of receipt would have been helpful.
I eventually emailed to find out if my sample was still valid, despite delivery delays related to the snowstorm. This was the entirety of the response I received ... typos included... “ We up and running and all samples will be tested”. I received that response on March 1/21.
On March 18/21, my doctor received an odd email from your lab. He called, fortunately, and it turned out to be a spam email. (It happens ... not an issue!). While on the phone, he found out my results were complete and was able to gain access to them, instead of them being sent out to us as we had been told would happen. Had he not called, would I have fallen through the cracks?? Who knows??
Again, I recognize the dreadful weather created such chaos so I can only hope that was the cause.

Thank you for your review. We take all feedback seriously as we are always seeking to improve.
As a laboratory, we don't send notifications when we receive a sample. We receive hundreds of samples a day and that's not in our system's capabilities.
During and after the storm we kept all samples received in viable conditions and temperature for testing. This should have been explained to you when you inquired about your sample.
When it comes to results (like any other lab) we are required to report all results to the ordering physician, the ordering physician then contacts the patient to discuss results. We deliver all results via private portal which all of our practitioners have access to, and get email notifications every time a report is added to their portal. Unprofessional service

Instructions that come for the test are vague and poorly written. I had to re-read it several times to figure out what to do. My test got to them when they lost electricity due to a bad ice storm. Obviously not their fault, but their response after that time was extremely unprofessional. I spent 1 & 1/2 weeks trying to find out where my test was - what was the status, etc.. No one returned my calls - not the receptionist or the lab supervisor. Finally I called the financial department and they issued a refund for the $399 fee that I had to pay up-front.

Hello Tim R. Not only did we lose electricity, our water pipes burst flooding the entire building and office equipment. There were a few days where people were living without water, electricity and heat at single-digit degree weather. This may explain our staff not answering calls. It sounds like you received a refund for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

They never sent me results of the test. It has been almost a month.
$300 down the drain.

We did get significant damage to our building due to the winter storm forcing us to relocate. We also were without power for a few days. As you can imagine, this caused a lot of delays including: sending out reports, phone calls, shipments. etc.

I would not normally review your…

I would not normally review your company at this point in time, however, you keep sending surveys to me. I am rating your company as a zero at this point because my sample was lost.

I understand that your business was affected by the severe winter storms, but my test should have already been processed by that point in time. I did receive a new test in the mail today, so now the long wait begins once again.

Customer service doesn’t exist

I have tried in every way I could possibly think of to get someone to contact me and let me know how I can get the paperwork to turn into my insurance. It says it’s available but it doesn’t show up in the order on how one is supposed to order/obtain it and NO ONE will connect me to who can answer this question or return a voice mail. I even asked my doctor if this place is even legit. I have not done the sample yet, because I have lost confidence in this lab.

There is rarely someone in the office…

There is rarely someone in the office who picks up the phone. No one calls back or responds to emails. Waiting for three weeks to receive my lab results ,was told within 10 days.

Hard to get ahold of a live person.

Hard to get ahold of a live person in the office. When you do, anyone whom I have spoken to has been so kind. I did the test and received a result that was equivocal. I wanted to retest for this but did not want the whole panel as only one came back this way. Never got a response about this, also only spoke with the dr for 1 1/2 mins as he had a meeting to go to.. so my questions never got answered. Spent 400.00 for un answered questions. Really disappointed with real time labs and a test that could not identify if I am positive for mycotoxins or not.

Test never shipped

Update:
I explained the situation to Dave, who reached out after I left the 1 star review. He was very professional in researching what happened to my order and correcting the error to my satisfaction. I have now received the test and will update review after results are provided.

Test never shipped. Could not reach anyone at RealTime Laboratories by phone or email despite multiple attempts at both sending email and leaving messages. Currently disputing charge with my credit card company

Is this a scam?

I haven’t received my test and it’s been 3 weeks. I’ve called multiple time and can’t get anyone on the phone. When I did speak to someone she told me she couldn’t help me.

Great Service
