Don’t trust this site! They don’t allow many negative reviews and censor all reviews. They are very biased in favor of the procedure and the physicians. There are WAY more complications with these procedures than reported on this site!

I used RealSelf to find a surgeon for an issue that has caused me much pain and insecurity from a young age. I was contacted immediately and set up with a consultation with an incredible surgeon in my area. Within 3 weeks of me contacting realself, I had my surgery date. I’m 3 weeks post op and I could not recommend RealSelf and the top notch doctors they have on their website enough. Would recommend to anyone and everyone for such an easy progress.

I’ve had 2 surgeries that are on the site, and I’m considering one more. RealSelf makes it easy to find the best, most credible doctors; to decide on whether a procedure is worth it; and to set realistic expectations for results. I’m so grateful to RealSelf!!!

Being able to write a review and also post pictures of the results from my surgery is great because it allows other people to see the great work that this physician can do.

This app and website has helped me research the procedure and surgeon before I had my own procedure. Now that I am recovering it is helping me look at others journeys to know what to expect.

It was so easy to get information and an appointment with the doctors I contacted through RealSelf using a customer care specialist who reached out to me to schedule a time to call. The specialist contacted the doctors on my behalf, then placed me on the call to get the information I needed. I did not realize that RealSelf had this service and I would not schedule a consultation any other way in the future. It was so easy and quick to contact several doctors at once.

I have always had awkward skin issues and I really appreciate that Realself is a place where you can research and share experiences about problems and solutions that are too sensitive for almost any other website. I have definitely benefited from reading reviews and seeing photos of other patients’ experiences, and I am glad that I have been able to contribute my own reviews for those that come along after me.

I was put at easy felt confidence at what I had to say no judgment. I am still looking for a Dr closer to home. Seam impossible at this point but hopefully that a Dr will see me

Great advice from experienced professionals! I wanted a second and 3rd opinion on my results but paying $200+ for a 15 minute consult and waiting up to 5 months or more to get it was just frustrating. I decided to post my question instead in hopes to get any type of answer I could look into further. I was very surprised to get several responses from very experienced specialists. Much better and quicker than paying and waiting for an in person consult! I received several suggestions and answers to take back to ng doctor when I inquire about a revision. I feel like I could say I received other opinions and this is what they said and assess his response.
I had problems getting my photos posted along with my question. Only 1 photo posted. I used the chat feature and got immediate help and my photos were uploaded right away after emailing them. I wish there was an option to post more than just 6 photos. I will use this again and again for any kind of treatment or procedure, it’s a great resource!

I left a negative 1 star review for Dr. Nima Shemirani, a doctor with a five star rating. RealSelf moved my review to the very last review.

Realself, is how I found Dr. nima and why I chose Dr. Nima. I regret this decision. I don’t feel I received the level of care I paid for or the level of care advertised to me. I have reason to believe RealSelf is helping Dr. Nima manipulate his image by removing negative reviews or moving them behind all positive reviews. It’s not fair.

My first time at the clinic, and first time receiving any time of facial treatment. I would recommend Skin Southwest to anyone and everyone. Pradnya Apte was professional and friendly and I was extremely happy with the results from my treatment.
