You can upload texts of your own or browse our public libraries for texts that other users have shared. Click for helpful translations and explanations and practice all the new vocab later with flashcards and other exercises. If you're a complete beginner, Readlang is not for you, yet! But as soon as you feel ready to start developing a reading habit in your chosen language, give it a try.

I've used Readlang since it was in beta…
I've used Readlang since it was in beta and as a book addict it's pretty much the only language learning app I use. I'm able to use it in a number of different ways such as pure reading most of the time, and flash cards including typing mode when I want to concentrate on increasing vocabulary.
One good part is that you can set the dictionary to be anything, such as Wiktionary or even image search on Google, Bing and so on. Each language has differing quality of resources which is what makes setting your own dictionary so important. There is also an AI tab for longer explanations for words or phrases.
Currently my streak on Readlang has surpassed 1200 days!
