Ordered a subscription for a friend. Only one out of three boxes delivered.
My email through their website was ignored.
I had a support email due to them messing up delivery when I'd purchased a 3-month subscription for my sister. I got a response initially from this email address and when I described the issue again, no response.
3 emails sent and all ignored.
A lovely idea ruined by terrible customer service.

Update. 5 days, (3 working days) after they responded below and I emailed again. Still no response.

I really wanted to love this - I think the idea is brilliant but sadly it has been really badly executed in my case.

I subscribed in January but only received four out of the seven boxes that I should have, and often after some chasing. On most of the occasions the customer service was reasonable and resolved the issue and I understood that the company was relatively new and had experienced some teething problems. However, on the last occasion my box never arrived (was supposed to be delivered in August) and I have been in touch countless times over email and through their website to ask for the refund which they had initially offered and have received absolutely nothing. I have obviously cancelled my subscription and will definitely not be recommending them!

I am on my 6th Reading in Heels box and I love them. I originally subscribed to a life style box that was cancelled so gave this one a shot. I usually read chick lit books but this is very different. Each time i have recieved a book with other lovely things such as chocolate, sweets, oils etc. They are all quite unique brands. The books have all been books that i would not usually choose but have found them all really interesting. 2 of the books, i have noticed being reviewed in papers etc.

So far I haven't had a bad experience with this company - I really look forward to my box arriving every month! Worth the money if you are looking for a decent book and some treats.

I signed up to discover new authors and broaden my reading and have not been disappointed! I have loved every book I have received so far ( 5 boxes in!) , most of them I wouldn’t have necessarily chosen myself which is a bonus. Opening my box is something I look forward to each month, the packaging is gorgeous and the little extras in each box are always a hit. Customer service is great and excellent value for money. Looking forward to receiving many more boxes in the future!

I signed up to Reading in Heels after another subs box i had was cancelled. I love reading but never know what books to choose so having someone else do it for me seemed like a great idea.
I have not been disappointed! I got my first box in January and have enjoyed every single one of them and always look forward to the next one!
The treats are usually from brands I've never heard of and really make me feel like I am treating myself.

My favourite post every month! I've received two boxes now and I'm looking forward to my third. The box is a lovely treat once a month. It's great to ensure you give yourself a little "me time" in the month and to make you pick up a book you might not have grabbed yourself. The online community (especially the Facebook group) is really lovely too. I'd encourage anyone to sign up!

I love Reading in Heels boxes! It's a brilliant little box packed full of treats and you can be sure the book you receive is always a great read. In a world of online shopping and the dreaded 'kindle', RIH brings back that magic of receiving a book, and the carefully selected treats to go with it make reading a special occasion. It's a great reminder to slow down, treat yourself and take time out to read a good book.

Have had one box so far. It arrived nicely packaged, on time, with lots of goodies. I've since become regular subscriber.

Something that I look forward to at the beginning of every month, I can't wait to receive my box and find out what surprises lie in side. The book selection is great, what I love the most is that they aren't books that I would automatically buy for myself and yet I have enjoyed all of them.

I absolutely love Reading in Heels and I look forward to my new book and treats every month. I have recommended reading in Heels to lots of people and I will continue to do so. Customer service is fab and have dealt with my queries quickly and efficiently. Keep doing what you're doing lovelies because you make a lot of people happy!!

Great customer service and fantastic boxes with great books and treats!

One of my favourite recent discoveries! I love the mix of new reads along with a variety of other products that I never knew existed! Great to discover new companies and 'must haves' from the range of beauty and home products with each box. And the paperbacks have been a great mix of genres too. Boxes always arrive on time and beautifully packaged ☺!

I stumbled across Reading in Heels one evening when looking for a subscription box which i could treat myself to each month, and i have to say that i am thrilled to have found them.
Receiving the box is like having a birthday each month and the contents so far have been enjoyable - especially the eye patches, face oil, and rose wine gums. Not only does the subscription box introduce me to books which are different to what i would normally read but it also brings new products across my horizon which i would not have stumbled across otherwise. And any contents which i am not keen on will go into the Christmas gift box to be passed on to friends and family. Double win!

What a great treat every month! I got a 6 month subscription as my Christmas present last year and immediately renewed it after my first box. A really original idea and every box is a delight. I love that the books aren’t ones that I would normally pick up or chose for myself. The added little extras are lovely and are clearly carefully picked to compliment the book and promote self care and mental health. Never had any issues with delivery and the website was easy to use. An absolute must any book lover or anyone looking for a different way to relax after a busy day.

I've been receiving this subscription for a year now and still look forward to receiving the box each month - it's a little box of sunshine! The selection of books is varied - some of the books I have loved and some I have disliked - but one of the reasons I joined was to try new books that I wouldn't neccessarily pick myself (and the number of books I have enjoyed does outnumber those I didnt like). From a service perspective I haven't experienced any issues with delivery or customer service - the box has arrived on time every month.

I've had 2 subscriptions and awaiting my 3rd and I honestly have to say that I adore everything about this.

I've finally found a little box that has lovely little treats and a great read every month. I often stick to the same genre but having a book picked for me is great. I've also loved every one so far! The extras you get in the box always feel so luxurious too and a proper little treat!

I cannot rave enough about this subscription, the only thing I would say is I wish the box fitted through my letterbox but thats more to do with me being impatient and having to wait until the weekend to collect it 😊

I'm happy to say I've not had any of the problems with delivery or customer service problems and would like to think it's simply down to teething problems rather than anything else. I've recommended this subscription to lots of friends as I feel this is finally a fantastic little box to receive each month.

All I would say to anyone is give it a go and you won't be disappointed! I've loved getting this each month and never had any issues. Keep it up Reading in heels I love what you have created.

I ordered the August box and loved all the little extras - i use the face oil everyday and it has resolved the dry patch on my skin! I loved the choice of book and it was particularly well timed with the release of the itv drama! I have ordered my September box! LOVE IT
