Absolutely the Best online site for…Reading Glasses!

Absolutely the Best online site for ordering reading glasses! Great selection of frames, Designer and Budget. Options are easy to choose, like Computer Progressive, Non-Glare, Blue Light Filter, and magnification. Two-Day delivery is standard and free and returns are simple if necessary, 30 day returns, no questions asked. I've bought multiple glasses from readingglasses.com. I LOVE this site!!

If I could I would give 10 Stars.

I cannot believe that anyone would give Readingglasses.com anything less than a 5 star review.
I've bought 5 pairs of Progressive No Line Sunglasses in the past 5 years and had to return 1 pair because I don't like Polarized. I have never had a less than easy experience with their customer service, in fact it's been a pleasure. Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable.

I am now going to send back the oldest pair for an updated prescription and they will tighten up and polish the frames.

I've bought 2 pairs of Coach, 1 gorgeous Tory Burch and the newest most Glam Swarovski...

Received defective glasses

Received defective glasses. Plastic rough and unfinished. Quality shockingly low, product is extemely flimsy. Trying to return the defective glasses is a nightmare. Customer Service keeps offering alternatives and asking thousands of questions. When you receive a defective product, you expect to be able to return it. They are making it very difficult. With so many other options available, there’s no reason to deal with this vender. LOL now they are blaming me for misunderstanding their delay tactics.

Reply from ReadingGlasses.com

We are puzzled by the complaint stating that we were making anything difficult. We believe the customer may have misinterpreted our outreach as an attempt to avoid a return when nothing could be further from the truth. Our sole concern was to identify any potential quality issues in the inventory so we might examine our backstock. To provide full transparency regarding our communication, we invite you to review the entire exchange with the customer.

Hello XXXXX,

I am pleased to assist you with the initiation of your return/exchange process. Kindly find the available options for return/exchange below:

https://www.readingglasses.com/return-exchange/

Just enter your six-digit order ID number (P562186) along with the email address you used within 30 days of receiving your order.

RETURNS: To return for a refund, leave the exchange area blank, and we will refund your original form of payment in full once we receive the package back.

EXCHANGES: To exchange your glasses, we offer two options:

RECOMMENDED:

The fastest way to get your new glasses is to place a new order for your desired item. Then, request a refund on your original order leaving the exchange box blank. We will process your order as we normally do and then refund your original order once we receive the returned item(s).

NOT AS FAST: Request an exchange in the designated box. As soon as we receive the items back, we will send you the replacement(s). If the new item(s) you want cost less than the ones you are returning, we will refund you the difference in full. If they cost more, you will receive an email or phone call so you can quickly make up the difference.

Would you please let me know if I can be of any further assistance?

Thanks,

Sharni

Are You going to-send me a return label or not? I don’t work for you and I don’t appreciate having all these emails going back-and-forth. I simply want to return a defective product. You can examine it when it comes back and see the damage it’s on the frame front near the nose. I don’t work for you. I would like to return this.

Please stop making demands of me. I am not here to help you. I received a bad product. I am inconvenienced by all of these emails. I’m going to be inconvenienced by shipping back the defective frames. I do not want to do business with you. I would like a credit.

Hello XXXXXX

I'm very sorry, and I understand your frustration. You said the plastic has a jagged, rough edge. Do you mind telling me where the rough edge is on the frame (frame front, temple arm)? I would like to make our Warehouse Department aware of this issue.

No I have never ordered glasses with a damaged frame before . I am not interested in your products given the bad quality of the first pair I’ve ever received. I would like to return this for a full credit.

Hello XXXX

I'm sorry you are not happy with your order. I can ship you a replacement Suzy Q frame, or would you like to select something else? Below, I provided a link to a frame similar to the Suzy Q glasses.

Readingglass.com an online purchase mailed items to an old address vs mail to billing address I selected

Readingglass.com an online purchase sent the items bought to an old address. When I bought I selected to mail to my billing address which was different than an address that had not been used in 3 years. They made an offer for my to buy again at a discount price but I feel the error is on their part and should send new glasses to my address. I like the product but feel they are not taking responsibility for their error.

Quality reading glasses at an excellent price, quick shipping, absolutely no hassles.

After unsatisfactory experience with two other sellers (Caddis and GlassesUSA), I purchased a pair of reading glasses with designer frames from ReadingGlasses.com. The price was almost $85 cheaper than the readers with the identical frames at GlassesUSA. Also, my glasses arrived in 3 days with free 2-day FedEx shipping and came with a case for no extra charge. The transaction was everything I could have asked.

Bought a pair of Bat Wing glasses that fold up and cause scratches to the lenses upon folding. Brought it to attention and agreed there fault but they would not discount the glasses since they wanted them back to resale. I said it was used merchandise and illegal to do that but still no course to resolve my issue. BAD Company. IKEPRO

Glasses arrived with nosepiece detached…

Glasses arrived with nosepiece detached and the screw nowhere to be found. Asked for a replacement screw but told to return the glasses. It’s now two weeks and they say they will repair and send back today, but the original response was that they would send a replacement. Treating customers like they are doing you a favor correcting their mistakes leaves a bad taste. Will look elsewhere for my next glasses.

BEFORE you purchase from…

BEFORE you purchase from readdingglasses.com, be fully aware of the return terms. They promote 'free shipping on returns.' Less obvious is the fact that they, in effect, charge a 50 pct restocking fee (since they allow 50 pct to be applied to [only] a future purchase. I had expectded to buy several pairs over several months. The ones I purchased were too narrow. I will toss these in a drawer or donate them. I will not purchase from them again.

Poor Quality for Premium Price

Purchased Varvatos V804 Single Vision Half Frame glasses last month. These were advertised as "unparalleled high quality" (and a price to match). Unfortunately upon receiving the product, this was not the case. In particular, the arms of the glasses are very loose. It gives a feeling of cheapness. When I complained, Readingglasses.com only offer to return or replace with a completely different style. I asked if they could just give me a discount and we can "call it a day", they refused and basically said tough luck.
Time to go back to CVS to ensure quality.

Bad Business practice

I was recently informed by Christine D from customer service department this company would no longer allow me to purchase from their site as a result of 4-5 returns I have made and the last pair arrived to my home damaged. I returned the damaged pair which where not my fault and she informed me of this decision which i found disappointing and unfair provided the nice selection of glasses you had. I have never been treated this way, practically blamed for damaged glasses. She advised me given the history of returns and the last damaged pair i was not suitable to order from them again.

Your site states:

A No Questions Asked Return Policy
A good return policy is one that’s easy to understand, so we kept ours simple: If you’re not happy with the frames you order in the first 30 days, send them back.

That’s it. We stand behind our products, so there’s no fine print, no questions you have to answer correctly to qualify. If you don’t like it, request a return label and then mail it back.

We’ll Pay for Return Shipping
If you live anywhere in the United States, return shipping is absolutely free. We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) so if you decide to return your frames, just box them up, print out and attach the return shipping label, and then drop it in your mailbox or local post office.

This is obviously not the case. Christine mentioned you reserve the right to terminate someones account. I do not see that anywhere on your site.

I do not wish to have my account reinstated however create an awareness this is a bad business practice, certainly not one with a sustainable future given the competition.

To all customers: Be careful when ordering for this site. You are not a customer. You are a number. Any Business who makes such claims as:
"That’s it. We stand behind our products, so there’s no fine print, no questions you have to answer correctly to qualify. If you don’t like it, request a return label and then mail it back."

And does not keep there word lacks integrity and does not deserve our business.
