Rathlin Raw Premium Dog Food Reviews 70

The quality of the food is excellent and is the best quality I have seen. However, there are two key issues the company needs to address.
Firstly, their customer service requires significant improvement. The phone line is consistently busy, and emails go unanswered, making it very difficult to resolve issues. (update - the person responsible for answering emails was away - so please put an out of office notification on)
Secondly, the packaging needs to be more robust. I have placed two orders so far. The first time, the 18kg box arrived wet and torn, though fortunately the food itself was unharmed and nothing was missing. On the second occasion, the courier reportedly dropped the box, and the food was too spoiled to deliver. It was returned to the depot and a damage report filed. That order contained 24kg of food in a single box — far too much for the current packaging to support. I had expected two 12kg boxes instead.
Rathlinraw have today prepared a replacement order - thank you.
Poor packaging and poor customer service are two recurring issues in these reviews - please could you look into improving these two important issues.

Avoid this company. I found a 3cm piece of jagged hard plastic / foreign body when weighing out dogs' breakfast. Had this have been ingested it could have caused serious harm. Rathlin Raw's response - a free chubb for the 'inconvenience'!!!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Very poor service, delivery was made 4 days late, no apology, on a seperate occasion delivery was made by a random company it was late and box was damaged, this made the food defrost. No apology, don't want to correct their mistakes. Will not be using again, very poorly run.

This food from rathlin raw premium dog food is unquestionably top notch. Excellent quality and superb product. I ain't never seen my dog wolf down food like it. Certainty dealt with any runny stools we had and whatever allergy he was experiencing that was very quickly minimised. I only had one minor issue and that was the size of the product. Not so much the cylinders but definitely the clear bag was too much product to use up in 3 days for one dog.

I would definitely recommend this company and food to any dog lover.

I would prefer to have the cylinders in half the sizes they currently are. Even better for storing in freezer.

And I would like more of a personal touch from the company for example it would be nice to receive a phone call from the company to ask how I felt about their product.

Plus a loyalty scheme offering discounted or free product would be well embraced by me for sure.

Consistently happy with the quality of this food! Dogs enjoy it very much. We currently have a litter of 7 hungry baby Vizslas at home and Rathlin meats and tripe will be a big part of their diet when they wean!

Dogs are thriving.
Our young Vizsla was very sick returning from kennels and in really poor condition. A mixture of illness and stress most likely.
Terrible diarrhoea, skin and bones, dull coat.
Royal Canin was going straight through him. I discovered the Rathlin Raw site looking for a local pet food source.
The diarrhoea stopped within 36 hrs of starting the Rathlin Raw Chicken mix.
Weight return was rapid and he is back to normal condition within 2 weeks of starting Rathlin Raw. Initially with rice, now on Rathlin Raw alone.
All 3 dogs love it.

I've been a long time user now of the Rathlin Raw products and I can't fault them. Quality and service is impeccable, always on time and delivered right to the door.

My repeat order of tripe arrived as expected and was still frozen. My dogs love it.

Great selection of products and flavours for your dog on a raw food plan. Easy to navigate and order from their website, and delivery is quick and well insulated for the frozen pet food. Very pleased with the service they provide.

Prompt delivery and well packaged. I have a very fussy German shepherd with sensitive stomach (and more recently food allergies) and he loves this food! He is actually excited for meals now, which is a first! My little dachshund gets the hump if I don’t give him a little too! The quality of the food is great and beats any of the new supermarket raw foods hands down! My vet actually told me frozen raw is best as it does something to the protein & it’s handy having a supply to hand so win-win!
