Scoop has cancelled my father's car…
Scoop has cancelled my father's car insurance policy and would not provide us with Estate insurance. Asking to speak with management was torture and the customer service would not put us through! Now the vehicle is sitting without insurance which makes it difficult to sell. No sympathy whatsoever at their end. Do not recommend them at all!!
Cassidy-Anne is wonderful
Cassidy-Anne is wonderful. She followed up with me when my old policy was due and the process was smooth and seamless. Most of all she saved me several hundreds of dollars on my home & car policies. I highly recommend her and this company.

Working with Scoop Insurance to secure my auto coverage through CAA was an excellent experience. As a broker, they did a fantastic job of streamlining the shopping process, quickly finding a reputable provider that offered great value for my needs. The team was highly responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the transition. To make the experience even better, it would be great to see them offer an online client portal for quick policy tweaks down the road, but their current personalized customer service is already top-notch.

The left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing.
There’s no other way to put this. Scoop as a whole is lazy, ignorant, and inept.
They quoted me $103 and change and told me numerous times that the payment would come out in a couple days, even after me asking them twice if it would be delayed due to monthly billing cycles.
So, I put $105 into a dedicated account for that vehicle, plus an extra $2 and exactly 1 months service fees in to make sure all my bases were covered.
Nothing happened until nearly 2 months later when they attempted to withdraw $110 and change…
So, of course I got a $10 NSF from Gore (2.4 star rating) and a $50 NSF from my bank. Not the end of the world but it pissed me off.
So, on my next day off, say 5 business days later, I called the number on the back of the policy document I printed out online… But instead of Gore, it’s Scoop and they tell me that I have to pay the entire year up front now…
Keep in mind, there’s nothing on their web portal about any of this, nor about payment dates or missed payments. They did send me a letter via mail, but I dont check the mail but maybe once very few months as pretty much everything is digital nowadays.
So, as I’m writing this, Scoop has me on hold after trying to brush me off until Monday to make the payment + cancellation fees. (I refused to wait as I don’t want a cancellation on my record).
Meanwhile, after a simple google search, I’ve just logged onto Gores website via another independent payment portal and made the payment + cancellation fees. All while Scoops rep is waiting on hold with Gore to see if I can make a direct payment today.
It seems that the left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing and they’re not apt enough to think out of their little cubes and try google for themselves….
Scoop is poop and Gore has a rating of 2.4 and dropping… I highly discourage anyone from using either of these inept companies.

Great Service
My experience with scoop has been great so far! As soon as I put in my info for the insurance I was looking for, I was called within minutes and was helped by a very friendly and patient real person! They helped me find my best rate and helped me set it all up. There was a few mishaps but that’s why it’s important to always check over your information:)
Avoid Scoop Like the Plague
This is for Scoop and Pembridge Insurance. They made a clerical error when entering my bank account, then when my payment didn't come through they, immediately cancelled my policy. On top of that, they charged me a fee for their mistake. They screw up repeatedly uploading wrong documents and also mystery charges and more money withdrawn. If you go with them watch your bank account closely. Horrible service that steals your cash.
Mike is extremely patient and…
Mike is extremely patient and knowledgeable during my policy setup as well as another policy's renewal. He explained to me all details and reasons for the right insurance setup - not the cheaper ones. Trade off always the protection I want and correct info I made. I am paying more but get much better peace of mind and the right protection needed.
I saw some people complaint about prices changing here, and they don't understand when they sign up insurance company will review their profile and decide the premiums, not brokers and if something wrong or not disclosed the rate will changed no surprised.

I got auto insurance for my pickup truck which is a ford f150 XLT however was mistakenly insured for a lariat. After some troubleshooting scoop determined that their system made a mistake and I was reimbursed promptly for the over payments that I had been paying. I would like to thank all those involved in rectifying the mistake promptly. Also scoop is still the cheapest insurance that I have found.
